14:24 Ruan Mei isn’t reviving the swarm, but to research the Aeons Tayzzyronth of Propagation Path. She obsessed about creating life as a research topic and she wants to know how Aeons was made or created. She chose to research Tayzzyronth and the path of Propagation because it is one of the easiest Aeons to recreate. On the side note. The swarm for her is just a concept to research. For all I know, she couldn’t care less about what they were. It could be just a means of her end goal or research.

At ver 2.0, I was wondering why Firefly cried when she bascially let the death meme kill her. At ver 2.2 , the quest told me it’s because she was using other way to enter the dream, which make her painfully die even it’s impossible to die in a dream. But in this animated short, I suddenly realize maybe it reminds her how her ally got killed by the sworm mother when she got stabbed by the death meme, which takes that scene to another level.

I suspect that at the end of the 'embers of glamoth' short FF got a little glance from old Nanook which would explain the literal planet destruction levels of power. As for Ruan Mei's experiment. The whole artificially creating an emanator was just a proof of concept, not really her end goal. She first tried (and failed) to create an emanator of Erudition (the bean paste, etc). Anyway it hardly matters since the swarm DOES still exist (the Aeon is currently imprisoned by Qlipoth).

I got firefly and her LC but i'll now save for her rerun to E6 S5 her then. Unless i get a character that can use shield that would work with Caelus, Firefly and Gallagher. I wouldn't pull for anyone unless they are a support (preferably a preservation) that would be great in my team

Arnold, this reminds me of Lucy if you remember the beginning story of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. Entirety of beta company thrown against the Covenant and (spoilers) only 2 survivors from that spartan 3 company. Lucy's ptsd rendered her mute. fortunately Firefly is made of sterner stuff. also this fight is unfair, it's like Spartans from Halo going against Tyranids from Warhammer.

If you want to be even more horrified of the Swarm, the Emanators like Starcrusher are implied to be at least the size of planets since they're capable of destroying stars and turning them into incubators for the Swarm. Also we've had warnings about the true scale of the Swarm since Argenti's companion quest, with how a Giant Sting was able to eat the entire Astral Express without us ever realizing it. As for Ruan Mei bringing them back, while yes she wanted to make a copy of a Propagation Emanator, she doesn't actually want to bring back the Swarm truly, she just wanted to study Emanators. The Emanator she made didn't even have a lifespan longer than a minute. It should be noted also that Ruan Mei didn't jump straight to using the Propagation, she made many MANY failed attempts using other Paths before she finally resorted to the Propagation for being a primal Path based around self replication making it a very easy Path to make copies of things. 19:36 Keep in mind that Kafka is technically the field leader/second in command of the Stellaron Hunters, she is also capable of some form of mind control and tends to spread chaos. SAM meanwhile is just a very destructive. So while SAM is definitely the more dangerous one to face in direct combat, Kafka is still a more significant target. 20:30 Yeah, you didn't see it cause you didn't read the description on the animated short, but "Article 22 of Glamoth's military regulations: Knights must give all they have to Her Majesty, the queen. Including their lives." Which paired with Article 1 (you should feel honored to have been born), pretty much says "you live to die for Glamoth".

Oh my god, you got the Clara fake-out like I did. Sadge mad, It took me to 78 pulls, saw destruction I literally jumped out of my seat did a twirl, turned back and saw Clara. And it took me another 81 pulls to actually get Firefly. Then another 60 pulls on Ruan Mei, lost to Gepard. 65 pulls on the light cone, lost the 75/25 to Clara's LC. Patch has broken me and my bank dude. $160 down to get a E0 S0.

Ruan mei wanted to learn more about How an emanator is made and to try to Understand Their existance that Connects them to the Aeons,She tried many times using Different paths which ultimately led to her Using the Propagation path because of how simple and easy it was to replica Ruan Mei's Lab Log details it pretty well on how she eventually came to the experiment of creating an Emanator. She first tried making an absolutely rational lifeform. She succeeded, but the lifeform just stayed motionless and died insane. Next she brought back Genius Number #8 from the dead. She succeeded, but Lambda just smiled and disappeared probably because he was unwilling to be revived. Next, she made an existence that could be in multiple places at once. She succeeded, but it offed itself. Next, she tried making Geniuses. As in Geniuses, bona-fide Genius Society geniuses. Which resulted in the cake cats. Finally, she realized that she could try making an Emanator from a primitive path. A path that's purely instincts. Which was Propagation. She succeeded, partially. She knew from the very beginning that the synthetic Skaracabaz would just self-detonate after 56 seconds. She doesn't have any connection to Propagation itself. It just so happens that Propagation as a path is primitive and thus much easier to tinker with than of other paths.

Definitely skipable. She gives many numbers, but ff works even without her. Guinaifen gives half of Mei damage, and Pela/Silver gives even more against bosses.
