dany, remember to take care of yourself bc you matter. instead of drinking, you should use other ways for coping with depression. write your feelings down. write anything down. listen to music. write songs, even if they may sound stupid. hydrate. exercise (that one's probably hard though, i'm not going to lie to you). but if you keep on drinking, your depression isn't going to get any better. oh, and remember that most of the time you can't make your depression go away, but you can learn to live with it. please, don't lose yourself in alcohol. you are strong enough to fight through this

You don’t even know how much this song effects me. Freshman year I was in a really bad situation with this guy who would lie to me and manipulate and use me and randomly ghost me online and irl and lead me on so bad literally talking to me romantically for a whole year then abruptly as Sophomore year started he started dating one of the newer Freshman I was so devastated and felt so bad for the girl. In Nov 2019 when this vid was posted I watched it with my then best friend and showing her me singing it in earlier 2019 when shit was with that guy. I ended up dating her she and is now my ex. I started dating her in January 2020 and by summer I was so exhausted and worn down by her emotional abuse and manipulation and lies and negativity I had to end it. It was so hard and she went to all of my close friends since middle school and others who know me only by common nickname and lied about the entire situation and made me look like the most terrible person in the world when all reality I couldn’t even stand up for myself whatsoever or say “I don’t really feel like it tonight” without her remarking manipulatively and meanly. To this day I still think she only used me for personal gain and sex. It sucks so fucking much because I actually gave a shit and she didn’t meanwhile all the fingers get pointed at me. Even going so far as to make up to that guy from Freshman year I’ve lied about him and I was even told he seems like a nicer person than me by someone who barely knew me and knew nothing about him it was truly awful to have to go through all that. Nobody knows how much I’ve cried over everything and everybody, they just paint me as a heartless monster. Your covers and original music have gotten me through so much for years.
