Shattered windshield. Delta Airbus A320 returns to Atlanta shortly after takeoff. Real ATC

THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT:
10-OCT-2024. A Delta Air Lines Airbus A320 (A320), registration N324US, performing flight DAL2495 / DL2495 from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, GA (USA) to Omaha Eppley Airfield, NE (USA) during climb out of Atlanta requested to level off at 7000 and reported delaminated windshield. Later the flight crew declared an emergency and decided to return back to the airport of Departure. The airplane landed safely on runway 8 left, vacated the runway and continued taxi to the gate.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.

2:44 did ATC really take up a minute of airtime relaying that info? How much slower can he speak when sharing the frequency with an inbound emergency? Seems like ARFF trucks should use a CAD display with all this information anyway.

First time hearing that. I’m guessing that it’s due to a possible decompression and infants not wearing seatbelts, which is ridiculous.
