Great first impression and thank you for feedback 🙌🏼 Uh, zipper pulls can be set on sides or top, they should not be set on corners. However, to reduce even more the risk, we extended the corner radius here so it is more rounded 😉

This bag has almost every feature I dislike in bags: left-shoulder dominant, side handles inside water bottle pockets, reverse panel loading, laptop sleeve on separate panel (with seemingly nothing to stop the laptop sliding all the way out if you open it quickly?), shoulder straps for flat completely flat shoulders. Does look pretty sleek though and expandability is very welcome.

It looks almost perfect but is expensive and a bit on the heavier side. Waiting for your full review.

I recently started looking for a new backpack, and the atd2 has an aesthetic that hits different than anything else I have seen. The price is high, but I have not seen any alternatives with similar vibes. I wish there were more reviews or articles about it, and appreciate the impressions!

Thanks for watching. The ATD2 is a great backpack. Check out my edc backpack roundup video as well. It's in that list kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooC3lnd7j8ufm7c

That waist belt isn't supposed to be stowed in the large waist belt pass through. When not using the small waist belt, it can be removed, or rolled up. The large waist belt pass through is available for the optional large waist belt to go through there. I will say that as a viewer, I'd rather see a review from you than a first impression. I want to know the materials, and details of the bag that don't show up in a first impression.

Thanks for the info and the constructive feedback. I have heard this feedback from two other viewers as well. It's totally understandable. For me this is an easy way to create a video for all of you to watch in my high peak work times. At the moment there is a lot of work and my house got flooded. So instead of having no videos I do these first impressions that are much easier to produce and help if I just don't leave the house due to work to test bags. I get that reviews are much more valuable to you as a viewer, but the alternative for now would have been no videos. And that's not an option for my channel of course. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

On wandrd prvke i use a carabiner clip to stop the zippers from pulling apart. Plus it gives me a slayer feeling in a bus where a pick pocket may be. I just wish it had load lifters

I love it. I was about to buy the Able carry max bc materials are a big issue for me. However this bag has fidlock😅. Na, I dig the classy perspective and the expandability

I really can't stand G hooks. I feel like bag makers use them versus standard hardware to be cool or to avoid the higher cost of Fidlock buckles. I usually replace most of the G Hooks on my bags with Fidlocks. The problem is, in this case since there are four of them, it would add ~$60 to the cost of a pack that is already north of $400 USD. That's getting up there.

Agreed, I'm not a fan of g hooks either.

Hey Bo! Did you have the opportunity to try the bag while riding your yamaha? How did you feel in terms of comfort, stability and movement? And most of all, did the rolltop catch the wind when it was partly loaded? It would be nice to hear a rider's opinion on the bag, as I would use it for that too. Thanks a lot!!!

Which bag would you recommend as a everyday work, gym and occasional family day trip bag. I’m stuck between the ATD 2 and Boundary Supply errant pro. I like a bit of organization and versitility. Thanks!

I have the same dilemma now myself. What did you decide on and why?
@Youknowthebo
@Youknowthebo Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your patience, you two. I did not see the comment. Between the atd2 and the Errant Pro is a big difference in terms of size. While not much smaller the atd2 is more in line of an EDC backpack and the Errant Pro leans more in the direction of being a carry on bag. The Errant Pro is usable as an EDC backpack, but will be much bulkier. But due to it's size advantage it is more versatile and can be used as an one bag travel bag. Furthermore it has the option to be a camera bag. So if you don't mind the bulk for EDC and want a very versatile bag then go with the Errant Pro. But if it is just EDC (work, gym and maybe a one night trip) then the atd2 is the better choice

Why in the intro, were you talking like a wacky dj on a Morning Zoo radio show? Lol. Nice bag. Thanks for sharing your first impression.

Still feels like an Alpha 31 knockoff. Refined, but knockoff. p.s. inspired by - modern dayfarer 16l sling. Almost identical, but different take without strange decisions (e.g. self-opening zipper, if you don't point attention, no loadlifters and "snugging" silhouette that even looks somewhat uncomfortable, strange handle "in your face" at the bottom). Definitely it's minor, but not "refined". p.p.s. ASP Sling Pouches - Xpac are an interesting take on the org kits + sling. Definitely very nice/cool.

I am gonna watch the Bo video on the Alpha 31 next, but it does look similar with one grab handle vs the 4 handles of this design. So if you fill it with bricks and have 3 friends to help you, than it would be a great bag for transporting bricks or heavy rocks with 4 people. Innovative.

Alpha31 is a great bag and we respect RE job, but this pack was developed starting from our ATD1 that was launched in 2018 at the same time than A31, with press samples being sent around months before, including Bo himself. No one could knock anything off here 🙂

@@attitudesupply20 first and foremost, I respect other opinions, respect backpack manufacturers and all hands for the variety. And answering to such constructive comments in a constructive way -> is very cool attitude (pun intended :D) As I said, "feels". And looks like it's not "is" because of what you've said. I fully believe you here and won't bother comparing dates. Seems, like it's just "time has come" for this style of multifunction design RE and AS use. Like with some other inventions, that were made around same time. But I still have to say, that it "feels" like that. I know you've started not as a professional designer, but a backpack nerd, BUT I can't help, but feel "knockoffishness". - sluggish silhouette - not very helping loadlifters during the load (for ATD1 more important) and missing them in atd2. - prone to opening with a lot of heavy stuff inside (again, I understand, that this can be avoided by making sure it's locked nicely/placed at the bottom, BUT still, I imagine "that moment it opens fully and everything just falls down"). Having 2 loops to attach sidestraps could help, like minaal 3.0 has. Good moments/obvious signs of you really caring and not knockoffing - strap keepers are better, than RE - D-ring to unbuckle were before RE 2-nd revision
