Dear Charlie. Thank you for another very inspirring and high quality tutorial. I'm 67 and I've recently picked up the guitar again, after I picked up the bass and put the guitar down 47 years ago. I realy enjoy playing bass, but I only did it, because I became member of a band, who needed a bass player. This time I'm digging deep and hanging on, for the rest of my life.

More helpful content, as usual. I love your teaching style and the subjects of your lessons! Please show some love for the 2-notes-per-string crowd! #Subscribed

Could have been a great lesson. You used tabs when doing 3 notes per string then when you started changing things you didn’t use any tabs. Someone already stated that once you left the 3 notes per string we didn’t know which key you were in. I thought that if you used a note as root you were telling me what key it was in. I’ve been playing for sometime but got lost. Thanks for sharing.

you loose me when you talk about root notes. First c as root of the frase. Then d as root of the frase. But is that all in the c major scale? confusing, I dont get it

@@yoyoyuyu234476 sorry - yes it’s all in C major. Should have emphasized that more I guess? Thanks for letting me know! 🎸🎶🔥🎶🎸

@@CharlieLongGuitar the word rootnote confused me, but great way to practice. So in fact you are kind of using the chords derived from the c major here I think
