What's missing from the reports is goals/targets, would love to see all the goals in a single place and how they look over time. Would also be useful in setting up realistic goals (compared to income and expenses)

Oh my goodness “making sure you both are contributing what is fair” to bills sounds like roommates. Not committed spouses or partners. Good thing my husband wasn’t over concerned about “fair” those 22 years I had no income when the kids were little. Life is so so much more fun and rich (in a mental and emotional way) together --money and all !!

Hello, I've been using YNAB with my wife for 1 month now, and we're glad! We adopted a "hybrid" couple budget (individual checkings and one shared checking). One question : We would like to isolate in the reports the contributions we each make to the shared account (transactions considered as transfers, as they are inside the budget), is there a way to do that? Thanks

Perfect timing! This had me adjust and add a new category for the food I'm purchasing at work into it's own category vs clumping it into my 'dining out' money!

5:58 Wait, you can insert money INTO the category when you get a refund? Why didn't I know that? I always struggled adding it to "ready to assign" and then juggling stuff here and there. Didn't know you could do that. Amazing

2:35 It may be helpful to know that while the web version of the ‘drill down of individually transactions’ doesn’t “display” the flag on each line, the same ‘drill down’ view by iPhone or iPad app does. Yippee🎉 Of course - as you mention - (on web) you can’t sort by flag (within the reflect menu) but, when that information is important it is insightful to know that that switching to that same view using your mobile device (if you have one) will display that additional ‘flag colour’ notation per line item. “If you need a screwdriver, sometimes it is best to put down the hammer” 😉
