Malaking tulong ang ROTC sa pagdisiplina sa mga kabataan lalo na ngayon puro laro at gadget kaya nagiging tamad hanggang sa pagtanda kaya tuloy mas maraming kababaehan nagtatrabaho kesa kalalakihan bilang responsable, at ang pinaka magandang maidulot niyan ay magkaroon ng kaalaman ang mga mamamayan tungkol sa pagtatanggol sa bayan sa panahon na ito'y kakailanganin natin, pero sana ay lawakan pa nila ang ROTC na sana ay magturo pa sila kung paano humawak ng baril at paano gamitin ito kasi sa naranasan ko ay parang ang mga officers lang ang may pagkakataon na humawak ng baril at kumalas nito which is not fair.

As a student in Manila way back 1994, BGC was an empty ground and was our ROTC training ground every Sunday . Youth back then are trained to be prepared in case of war. YES to ROTC.

May ROTC na bago pa mag martial law. Pinalitan lang ng pangalan at ginawang CMT (Citizens Military Training).

Yung generation namin...because there's ROTC it made us all very fit and healthy...you will seldom see overweight teenagers in my days...no cell phone...no video games...we have ROTC every Saturday all day we are exposed under the sun doing drills...martial arts..biking.. mountain hiking...then we do sports.. on Sunday ..outdoors and nature are our playground.. it was very fun... It's sad now a days...lots of teenagers have weight and health issues...because they choose to be a couch potato...I was born and grew up during martial law...ROTC got nothing to do with Martial Law..so to the Lady who said ROTC was made because of Martial...she doesn't know a sh$#t😂.

No to Mandatory ROTC. Yes to GMRC! Kung Disiplina lang ang pag-uusapan, it must start in the developmental age of Morals which is 6-8 yr old. ROTC should be only for those aiming to be in Military or those who want it. To force train a Teenage kid with Military discipline will not make a person be more responsible if its Morals are not developed in younger age. Love for Country, Patriotism must be planted in the age of Reason of a person.
