999lazer I’m old school 52 weekend warrior with a 18 YZ250 2stroke now and I retired on 2003 RM 250 wasn’t the fastest bike but it handled awesome. Few engine mods and it was now fast and nimble. I watched your first race and thought those other guys were just holding you back. Once again thanks for keeping 2 strokes alive. Like I always tell my dirt friends. Be safe and keep the rubber down. ✌🏻

NO doubt on both accounts. Anybody who can hang in there on a 2 stroke against bikes with double the displacement and gobs more torque knows how to ride. Yeah it always comes down to the rider. I guess you just can't make a mistake on a 2 stroke. That 4 stroke was walking away every time they had that uphill straightaway.

My last name is Speed. My dad raced motocross his whole life and owned North Jackson Honda Yamaha for 20+ years. I raced from the time I was 8 until I turned 13 and got crushed by my bike during a race and broke both my legs, I got scared and quit all together. Ya, I am old, had an RM125 in high school and 1998 KX250 at 33 years old. I am so partial to 2-cycles. Broke my heart; California ruins everything, when a ban was implemented against 2-cyckes. This said: I am impressed by the 4-stokers; they are faster than I thought they would be. Love the audio with the visual on the head cam!

Sounded like a 125 or 150 in australia we can ride 250 2 stroke against 250f so very impressive to get a huge 10 sec gap on a 125 keep up the good videos love to see more of this young gun in the future

U know I really don't have any complaint about the four strokes I started out riding motocross on one giving my two stroke trash talking friends a taste if my back tire.but not by choice I was all about two strokes,the thing I can't stand is I just wish they would braaahp more they sound like construction equipment on the far side of the mountain,other then that they are great,it good too see two strokes get loved again and built still by a couple companies....I have a 125cc rotax go kart so I'm not totally having withdrawal,its a beast I really think the perfect two stroke would be a 300cc class bike....thanks for the post..

Awesome stuff! My God, just shows what raw talent he has - two strokes need a lot more work than a four stroke, as they're far more 'punchy', aggressive and harder to take charge of. You could clearly see he was the more 'justified' rider, but out-torqued by the four strokes. Well earned and deserved victory. He'll be a world champion, if he keeps this up!👍😎

Nice riding dude. I give it up to anyone who can even hang in there on a 2 stroke these days. And to beat them well, that just speaks to the ability of the rider. I had a 4 stroke once. I blew it up twice in less than a year and I don't beat on my bikes. I've seized up 1 engine since 1983 and that was a 1993 KX 125, the flapper valve broke and hit the piston. 4 strokes are throwaway technology 2 strokes last and are easy to fix. I can't even tell you how many hours I get in between top ends on my 2004 KTM 200 SX...literally because it doesn't have an hour meter. Years and years but I don't race. I just got a 2015 KTM 150 SX and the 200 SX engine will be in that frame soon.

Awesome riding your going places keep it up , it's not always the the size bike or the money you have to throw at it it's ability and passion to win. 33 years ago same scenario with me 1982 cr 80 spotless stock bike up against 2stroke 250,500 in flat track racing, 35 bike field always top 4 finish. Love it 2strokes for ever .

You can tell he has to be twice the rider herr. Any time they were both hard on the gas the four strokes would pull away. Mad props for the riding skills. He carried speed where they didn't and made the whole track flow better than the other riders.
