@@OgeeThegodfather YESSS! So many soulful bangers man, it was endless. I was a music video junkie as well so I was always watching these videos with the romantic narrative like this, lol. I just knew it wasn't getting any better than this. The 2010's was a terrible era for blk music- when Usher did Love In This Club & OMG and they were all doing that Euro trash music- to go from Confessions era to that, I was legit depressed 'cause the soundtracks to my life were gone. I feel like music has picked back up in the last couple years but you have to handpick the good stuff and it still doesn't compare. Remember the old Rocafella era?? Sheesh.

Every part of this song is a complete beast. The count, the beat, the blend is beyond ridiculous. The Bass is killing it. R&B vocals just so smooth and not overdone. The lyricists textures and tones are sheer perfection, they blend, flow, and transition effortlessly with each other and every part of the music. Everything about this song just feels so good. Nearly 20 years later, Timeless 🔥

Lol. We as fans stopped wanting that type of music. Remember back when we used to call into radio stations to request music? Well that's how many artists made it back then. But as technology became more convenient, we stopped that. Just thought the music would come to us. Meanwhile our younger brothers or kids if you were old enough with old enough kids..they used internet to vote for and pass on their favorite "artists". Good music fell to the side cause we older people stopped putting in our support. And bad music made it cause young kids were supporting those young artists with no substance. And business is business. Whatever makes money gets kept and signed Whatever doesn't gets.cut Simple

My homie put me onto this when we was deployed in 03-04 Iraq. Crazy and good times. Got back to the stateside and the song had a crazy buzz. Like damn, the same vibe we thought it would have all the way in Iraq. I miss you Alston, hope you up big in life Dawg...
