Hi Guys!
Today we have a story from one of our viewers from Texas. When he was 11 years old he had a direct encounter with a Sasquatch in a east Texas forest.
This experience has haunted him to this day!!

I just experienced a FIRST! I'm a lifelong outdoorsman, Elk, deer, moose hunter. Pheasant and grouse hunter. Ocean-going salmon, and bottom fisher. Camper, hiker, kayaker, ALL MY LIFE! I'm sober as a church-mouse. Not a believer in a large "creature" undiscovered in our wilderness. I've heard every wilderness animal from thumping grouse to mountain lions screaming in heat.. " I ain't no pansy, says I".. I'm 71 and retired. I spent the entirety of this summer at about 4500 ft to escape the heat and enjoy the cool of elevation. Just spent the last month in the ElkHorn mountains of Oregon, camped entirely alone; nearest house several miles down the FSR that leads to my campsite. A screaming view out over a large river valley. surrounded by miles and miles of forests...no homes, except the one miles back which is well out of hearing unless they used dynamite. I'd been here for some time completely alone. I was sitting with coffee enjoying the view, no wind just total silence. WHAAAPPPP!!! the sound of a log which had to be 8 or 10 inches in diameter was powered/swung, thrust "like a professional baseball batter would" into a tree. It had inertia and thrust behind it. Not just falling under its own weight....it wasn't a fall it was a smack up against a standing tree. I've never heard such an impact. I've heard widow maker trees pop loudly as they snap off and fall. This was far more than a "natural" event. It was not a tree releasing from being bound by another. No human did it unless they had a catapult in the woods. I stood up immediately....saw nothing and didn't hear anything again. Not saying "sasquatch" related but I will remember that to my dying day.

i started getting in to bigfoot and dogman about a year ago because for the past three years i've been haunted by some type of evil spirit that pretended to be the ghost of my dead dog like a week after it died. Listening to other people's unbelievable stories helps me cope with being harassed by something that i still have no clue what actually is. I'm not crazy (i wish that's what the problem was) because two people close to me have seen it while at my place
@unropednope4644
@unropednope4644 11 ай бұрын
It's most likely that "dogman" are just a subspecies of a bigfoot. Their aren't two separate large undiscovered hominid species roaming north America. The odds of that are practically nil. Also, you can literally track bigfoot sightings through history all the way back to the early 1800s and even one incident in the 1700s via old reports, native American stories and newspaper accounts. Not the same for dogman as they only started appearing in the early 90s. You have to ask why that is.

I was deer hunting 1977 in Stewart county Georgia with a couple of friend of mine, one friends dad was in a hunting club so we got to go and the area was in an old logging area, very hilly with some what higher hills. On the 3rd day we all split up so I walked a track of the logging roads to get to an area I wanted to hunt that was well away from other hunters. I heard a roar like sound that that was over a large hill from me, it was very deep and loud, it actually scared me and at 17 nothing scared me. I turned around and left the area, never saw or smelled anything but the sound wasn’t from any animal native to Georgia, it made the hair in back of my neck stand up 😂. Years later I heard recordings of big foot hollers and that was the sound I heard. I’m glad I didn’t see this thing as I was alone, I didn’t go back to this area unless someone was with me.

Thanks Chris. I had a rather small encounter myself. I grew up in north central Wisconsin. Lots of woods in the area. A small town called Ladysmith. In Rusk county. I was 18 and driving home around 2am. Just outside of town by the high school. I'd never heard of bigfoot. Actually I loved being in the woods at night. As I was passing the area just before the school (which is on the edge of town) I large hairy animal ran across the road right in front of me. It was running on 2 legs.. not four. It was about 6 feet tall. I couldn't figure out what it was.. I never forgot. Now I would say that it was probably a young sasquatch. Because of its size and that it foolishly ran in front of my car. Just thought I would tell my little encounter. Thanks for your videos. I look forward to them every Sunday. This happened in 1976.. btw. I'm a grandmother now.. :)

That apparently happens fairly often. I've heard some researchers speculate that such quick and close encounters could involve adolescent Sasquatch "counting coup" on unsuspecting humans as a test of bravery, or of course merely to scare the humans in question. Makes sense to me anyway, knowing how some youngsters act on this branch of the hominid tree! LOL

As a person who has experienced something my mind had no idea how to comprehend, you never forget. Many people seek answers for decades ( like me ), often something will trigger a memory. Your story, no doubt sticks with the witness. Thank him for sharing. I find that the most difficult part is telling others. No kidding, they look at you as if they should put a straitjacket on you. Honestly, if I heard someone else tell my story, I’d think they were nuts. Lol

Yes…it’s hard to comprehend it myself. Much less telling others, who really do look at you as if you’ve lost your mind and ask stupid questions like, what were you smoking? No one knows how deeply jarring the experience is. How right to your core scared it makes you.

@@jscheffer9421 mine has to do with what they call the Hat Man. Very long story. Lasted for probably a year. The thing was attached to the house I was renting from my grandmother. Old house. Terrifying nocturnal visits. Ending in the house burning down. But, what led up to that point will stay with me forever. I don’t believe it was any ghost. I felt it was malevolent. And, male. Never have been as afraid and that was the late 80s. In recent years I’ve come to believe it was demonic.

Another amazing post! God bless Robert Redford - he's definitely had some tragedies and losing another son in 2020 I think. Regarding Jeremiah Johnson part of the movie was filmed at a old family friend's house -- when Redford is outside talking to someone, maybe chickens are around -- that was filmed just off 285 just before Conifer in the mts west of Denver. You know I believe after filming Jeremiah he loved he area behind Provo so much he purchased a lot of his land there way back then. Best, from Colorado!

He could have attacked that poor boy, he done exactly what he should have done and that was nothing, just be quiet and still!! Very very scary story indeed!! I think if I had been in that young man’s situation and heard the creature take deep breaths behind me, trying to pick up my scent, I would have literally been paralyzed at that moment! Not sure I could have moved until morning or until someone came looking for me! Even having a rifle on my lap, I still think I would have been frozen or would have passed out from the fear! I just can’t imagine that kind of fear! Also, thank you Chris for bringing awareness to the fact that many people who have these encounters experience a deep traumatic and emotional experience that can haunt them for years or cause lifestyle changes and habits! Chris, your story telling is captivating and so much thanks to all the people who take their time to write down and send their personal experiences, whether in the comments or directly to Chris. ❤️🇨🇦🙏🏻. It builds a community, much as Dave P. of the CanAm Bigfoot Missing Persons Project does. Many of us have experienced strange, inexplicable and even terrifying sightings/ events and it is very helpful to share them in order to make some sense of them in some way. It’s gratifying to know that we are not alone and isolated in what we have experienced and that other people can also relate to and are trying to understand these life changing events, in every sense.. I have seen many things that changed what I THOUGHT I knew about the world around me and have rocked my understanding of the world; it’s helpful to hear the accounts of others who have also experienced them as well..

Another great story, thank you Dave and Chris!!! I enjoy listening to the stories in the studio, as much as I enjoy listening to them while you are sitting in the middle of the forest. Your way of telling those stories transports me to the place were it all happened, I visualize the scene and it is as if I am right there, next to the protagonist of the terrifying encounter.

I think when you're going through something scary and it is repeated as it was for me and my brother, you just want it to be over. You don't understand it and parents deny it if you ask them about it (my experience). Our experience was far more than a typical story, if there is one and left questions that we still have. Now I guess it means I understand there is more to life than the 'seen' or accepted.

Hi Chris...I have an interesting story. It is unusual and does not relate to Sasquatch, ghosts, or aliens...Yet, it is so different. Thank heavens, there was a friend I was with who was an eye witness who had the same exact experience. This was 50 years ago. We never spoke about it after. To this day we have never mentioned it. So, I need to draft a narration. This may take a month or so. Thanks.

Great story Chris! I am so fascinated by your stories . A part of me just can't believe that these creatures are harmful. If he was that close to the little boy it seems he would have been attacked or some kind of interaction would be done. On the other hand , it spooked me when the boy Said that he wondered what would have happened if it looked him in the eyes! Freaky!!! I'm so intrigued by all this but I won't be venturing out in the wilderness looking for them!!! 😅. Stay safe Chris. ❤

Is it “Groverton” or “Groveton”? Davy Crockett National Forest rides our property line, and our nearest town is Groveton. We’ve never seen anything out here at the farm, but the area would sure be a good place for something BIG to hide. Very rural, lots of deep forest and thick underbrush. I’m not exactly a believer, but I’m not a doubter either. I’ve never seen anything here myself but, while I might be frightened if I did see one, I don’t think I’d be that surprised.

Awesome channel and stories chris. I just wanted to suggest that it would be a good idea to get as many of these witneeses recorded describing these encounters so they arent second hand. I realize this isnt always possible but it adds so much credibility hearing the actual first person witness description.

When I was 18, I worked in a gas station until I had a .45 pointed at my chest. "Give me your fucking money," he shouted and I immediately looked away, to the ground as I handed over the bank. It was the same as this kid, I knew not to look straight at it, just an instinct which may have saved my life.

I live in the uk and always have, when I was very young in the late 60s from about 3 or 4 years old (these went on for a number of years) I used to have reoccurring nightmares of being hunted by Bigfoot, I remember in my dream hiding and being frozen with my eyes tightly closed, in my dream I knew what they looked like and what they were, and remember the very heavy footsteps the sound and vibration they made. It’s only as I got older and heard about Bigfoot and saw images that I realized that’s what I had been dreaming about in my childhood. It makes me wonder if it’s some sort of regression from a past life 🤷‍♀️ I’m really fascinated by everyone’s encounters and watch the documentaries it almost feels like I’ve had an encounter but not in my current reality if that makes sense. Much love to the whole community and really hope the rains put an end to the awful fires being experienced 😢 x

It took me years to realize what was in my backyard in Massachusetts. People make fun of me claiming it was a bear. This was no bear! Bears don’t run on two feet and stomp that heavy. What I also experienced was something imitating owl and elk sounds. The elk sounds we’re outside my living room window, there aren’t elk or moose in that area. The feeling of being watched was so intense.

I've found that it's like a bunch of puzzle pieces that by themselves are hard to figure out. Once you start putting them together, the picture is unmistakable and can be scary as hell. FAITH has to be stronger than fear in order to beat it.
