For all those who believe in the bible ponder this thought . It says in the bible that heaven has a capacity of 144,000 and God will choose these people from all tribes & languages . Selections began after the death of Christ . Now surely after 2,024 years heaven would be full to the brim a long time ago . Does this mean that all religious leaders in the world are merely ticket touts trying sell you a place in a venue that is already sold out ? There are religious wars all over the world and for what ? Revelations 14:3,3 .

Hell was a creation of the church. A retired Catholic Bishop admitted it on National TV. I think his name was John Spong.
@galadballcrusher81823 ай бұрын
Yes and no. Let's go by that premise that church invented hell. Then there is a problem. You see way before christianity and church there lived a famous figure among Jews....king Solomon. He was also famous as a mage. There are two occult books attributed to him that comprise so called Solomonic magic. One of the 2 is called the Key and is a short relatively blist of summoning incantations and instructions on how to use them to bring various demons from Hell within a circle, subdue them by threatening that you will start torturing them by mentioning some of the names of God and the harmonic ripples they create are supposedly painful to them unless they form a binding contract to serve you. Obviously prior to making contact they don't know you but once contact is made (which includes also creating and using some talismans for protection from them) then one has to wear the particular talisman for life cause they will be itching to get revenge for forced service. The second more extensive book is called Lemegethon and is litterally a who is who type catalogue of Demons, including their powers, shapes they take, planetary allignment (to be used for selecting time of summoning as well correct material for talisman) petsonal sigils ( used among others for the particular talisman as well for the protective circle of summons) and last but not least *RANK* *IN* *SOCIAL* *LADDER* *OR* *HIERARCHY* *OF* *HELL* (needed cause if they do not respond may be busy doing some service and the Key mentions option to use higher ranked incantations to bring a higher ranked one and ask him to send u the one u need , pulling strings). Which means judaism allready had a concept of hell including ranking of the natives before Christian church was funded. See?

Hel was a Nordic goddess that ruled over the realm where the dead that didn't get chosen for Valhalla went, her realm was also called Hel and it was a freezing cold place. The church adopted the name and twisted it to fit their narrative, just like they did with a lot of heathen deities and holidays.

This is my theory. In ancient times, life was governed by the lunar cycle; as the phases of the moon are completed in 28 days, which gave 13 lunar cycles as we know in a year. This means if Noah lived for 950 years(lunar cycles), that means that Noah lived to around 73 years.

Hell has computers...but with a Blue Screen of Death every 90 seconds. Hell has marriage...but you must remarry your ex that you hated so much that you thought about murder more than once. The argument given by the religious teacher of what real hell is, just at the end finally knowing that God exists but because you didn't acknowledge that in life you forever lose your chance at redemption and a place in heaven, only able to forever after suffer in hell. Well, how would the teacher know that, he has accepted God so that isn't his fate apparently, at least him and millions of other Christains would hope so. Also as no non-believer is apparently not allowed in heaven to pass on the facts or story to other fellow believers that might somehow get that story back to the teacher that teacher is just listening to scuttlebutt or making up stories as he goes along. Those are the type of people that deserve to be in hell, and if God is truly just then they certainly will end up there.

What if reality as we experience it is just reality? We don't add a God or spirituality, etc? These claims only make things more complicated and they really don't add anything to our actual experience. These things give us false hope, a sense of comfort, or a sense of community. But when somebody dies close to us, we hurt, no matter your belief. When we suffer, we still feel pain, believer or not. We can also be happy through experiences and no God is needed. So why the add on when not needed? Scared of you not existing? Were you scared in the 1500s? They are gone, had worse lives and were way more religious. So what is the actual value? Fear throughout life? That's a benefit? That's what a god would want? That's reality?
