Man!!! I was a freshman in HS when Kob came to the Lakers. Being from So Cal shit was hella lit. Shaq, Nick Van Exel, Eddie Jones and a young Kobe. Exciting af. The only thing is they couldn't get pass the Jazz for 2 years then the Spurs in 99. Once they made some trades and Phill came to the squad it was over. But young Frobe was extremely fun to watch.

26,01 2020. The day I’ll never forget. Kobe gave me so many memories, goods times and bad. I wouldn’t trade growing up watching him for anyone else. Truly gave me someone to believe in and aspire to be like. Will never forget. Thank you!

2/26/19. The day I'll never forget. My mother gave me so many memories, good times and bad. I wouldn't trade growing up being raised by her for anyone else. Truly gave me someone to believe in and aspire to be like. Will never forget. No offense, but get over it. Kobe died, and it was incredibly tragic, but you didn't even know him and he didn't know you. Appreciate the basketball you saw him play. I doubt you followed the guy off the court like he was a family member.

@@nocturne311 I’m not you and I don’t know you. Youre free to leave your silly comment but I’ll be straight up and say idc about your opinion. I laid out my experience you don’t care, that’s fine no one asked you to.

@@nocturne311 I would like to say some VERY cruel things to you but due to my belief in a higher power I will restrain myself. Your comment represents everything that is wrong with the world. It is completely bereft of empathy. Kobe Bryant was an idol, a role model, and an inspiration to many people. There are people, famous people, who say he helped saved their lives. To many, he was LIKE a family member; his work ethic gave you a paragon to model after; his virtuosity was inspirational in the same way Einstein was inspirational: it married genius with industriousness. Athletes ARE role models, and if you don't like the guy, that's fine, but to crap on a stranger who's expressing affection for somebody that had a POSITIVE influence on their lives just because they never knew him personally is just sad, pathetic, cruel, indecent, and obnoxious. You are a fake tough guy. Kobe was MORE than just a basketball player, don't you get it? He won an Oscar, he was INSPIRATIONAL because he was ASPIRATIONAL and that's something people with quotidian lives need in an otherwise dreary, indifferent and apathetic world. There's a REASON his death was such a big deal and people leave comments EVERY SINGLE DAY on KZbin about him, he was so much more than a basketball player and the fact you cannot see that is your loss. Some people are fine with mediocrity. Kobe was not. Be smarter next time. You left a very unintelligent comment...and that's being very euphemistic.

His weaknesses were his ego and his shot selection. Skill-wise, he didn't have any weaknesses. Psychologically, his weaknesses prevented him from possibly becoming the greatest player ever.

Young, Great Western Forum Kobe was pretty much all about individual showcase. Once Phil Jackson and the triangle offense came along, this is when Kobe developed into a great player in a team, championship winning concept, first with Shaq, as perhaps the greatest #2 in NBA history, and as the lead guy from 2007-2010, leading the Lakers to 3 straight finals and back 2 back championships.

This is amazing R.I.P Kobe and Gianna 🙏😭😢In his 3rd season1998-99 which was shortened because of the lockout 💯We definitely started to see Kobe(Aka The Real Baby Jordan 🐐, sorry Harold Miner 😆😂 but it's true) channel Michael Jordan 🐐🏀🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 and emulate his style. He rarely did the crossover like his first 2 seasons and the hard work he put in through the years and that's why I consider him the 2nd greatest basketball player of all time behind Michael Jordan 🐐💯

You could argue he had a better career and go accolade for accolade however skill wise it wasn’t even close 😅 y’all must be blind. Intentionally ignorant. You take tim and hope you have spurs level recruitment and I’ll take kobe and get the most action packed show in the nba for years to come 😂
