The saddest part are women who are on the sons side at the beginning. They tell the mum not to embarrass her child because they probably think or even have been told by their children that they are an embarrassment, so they try their best not to be an embarrassment for their children. I was just like this. As much as I am ashamed of being like this in the past, this video really connects with me and reminds me my parents do everything in their ability, not worrying about their own life just so I can have the best life possible. Growing up I was always ashamed of my dad not having a "good" "well paid" job as he worked as a bookkeeper for small organizations. I remember telling my friends he owned a company and an expensive car just to "prove" to them I was rich. Now that I think of it, it's so silly to show off and lie about these things to prove to people who u shouldn't care too much about. I now realize friends who care about status aren't real friends. I still remember the day when my dad came home drenched in the rain, all his papers were completely wet. He looked at me and seeing that I didn't have dinner yet (as mum was sick that day) he went out again to buy me my favourite sushi and made me some soup when he had a small portion of rice. Seeing him eating nothing but rice but making sure I had a full delicious meal moved me to tears. I realised how much he cared and loved me. The next day i told my friends the truth, proud to say i loved him and how much he cared for me, regardless his job and status. They teased me for being "poor" but i completely ignored them. I didn't need toxic friends, all i needed was a loving caring friend, my dad 🥰

Friends come and go, but good parents are forever. My grandmother once said, “Every generation does better.” She meant… everything she did was for her children and everything my parents did was for me. That is the same thing I say to my children.

The forceful “apologize” is so satisfying. He was fuming but was trying not to blow up because he respected the mother more than that. You can see by the body language and tone of voice he has nothing but the utmost respect for his parents and won’t stand to see a child berate their mother.

I have seen a situation very similar to this one: a young man was talking to his mother who's a sanitation worker and suddenly his classmates came and made fun of his mother. His mother got quiet and decided to walk away to not embarrass her son, but instead of feeling embarrassed, that man got rly mad at his classmates for being rude to his mom and started argue with him. I remembered him saying "She's my mother so there's nothing I'm feeling ashamed of." He then walked away with his mother and told her that she didn't needs to feel bad because of those jerks. RESPECTS TOWARD THAT GUY

The ladies at the begging really made me sad, we should love and respect our parents no matter how "embarrasing" their jobs are, they do what they do just for us and to gives us what we want even though is not their job since he's a grown up man and she should be working to get what he wants... We don't know how hard is for them to bring some money home and the things they have to experience just for us, no matter what we should be proud of them.
