In a major blunder by the Home Office, thousands of illegal migrants who were scheduled to be flown to Rwanda have gone missing.
A document released by the Home Office shows that only 2,145 out of 5,700 asylum seekers earmarked for deportation to East Africa have been located.

The reason they can't work is because there is no one proccessing any claims. The Tory government cut back on staff. Folks can be here for nearly 2 years before their claims are heard and decided upon. The government, the Tory government are responsible for this. I often hear folks going "there could be rapists and murders in amongst them". True there could be. We have no idea as we have again no one checking claims for authenticity. Strangely the same folks don't mention that there "could be doctors, nurses, farm workers etc amongst them". True there could be. Sadly they can't work in jobs that could help our economy because... oh yes the Tory government have hardly anyone staffing the immigration offices. Immigrants/refugees need to be checked, then given a NI number before they can work. Most of the people arriving here actually want to work (yes not all, as there are chancers in all walks of life) and are stuck in limbo even when they are actually genuinely entitled to do so. This problem could be resolved quite quickly if we opened safe routes (where we could start checking claims before folks even got onto the island) and staffed the immigration offices. For the millions being spent on vanity projects such as Rwanda (which won't solve the issue) they could solve the actual problems meaning we no longer have people wandering around our towns and cities for nearly 2 years without us knowing who they are.

The Home Office has instructed councils to move migrants 'who have no priority' out of hotels as 'they do not want them to become homeless'. For example in Gloucester they have commandeered at great expense a purpose built NHS rehabilitation centre called Wheatstone Court, Abbeydale, Gloucester, a purpose built centre for seriously sick and injured. It's right next to Heron infants, junior school and near to playing fields and community centre toddler groups. Same thing happening all over. No consideration given to the local peope.

We have had a huge influx of ethnic people into our small town in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 . I’m not sure why as it wasn’t long ago we were told there wasn’t enough employment in the area for indigenous people , also you have to speak Welsh for a lot of jobs in Wales.
