@afebrian20375 жыл бұрын
Where do you come from?? Do your country have nearly extinct animal??
@jonaseriksson37825 жыл бұрын
Palm oil per say isn't the problem, it's the deforestation part that is. We shouldn't get rid of palm oil production if it has already been setup, it's like any other tree that absorbs carbondioxide, so getting rid of it would only make things worse. We need to stop burning forests to make more of it. There are also less financially effective methods of producing palm oil that are more eco friendly that don't rely on destroying natural habitats. Palm oil is a very useful resource, so it'd be better to push for better methods of production rather than boycotting it completely.
@aaacauliflower72865 жыл бұрын
@@jonaseriksson3782 agreed to that. I realized that if the palm oil industry would cease, the lands where the trees were planted can just be replaced by another agricultural plant mainly for business and people's need. Greed is still the root of these and not necessarily the palm oil industry. What is needed is strict implementation of laws since these laws protecting different species are already existent but are violated for the sake of money. Education is also the key to awaken people's thinking that we live in a time where these species are depleting sooner each day and the losses will greatly disrupt the balance of nature.
