I then received a very honest, thorough, and mature conversation that left nothing out. I learned from my friend when I was 8, she said it straight up but I was still slightly confused. My nan told my little sister when she was nine because she was really curious. My nan sort of explained it the birds and the bees way but also using real terminology, it’s less awkward not hearing it from your parents I feel, because your like “Ew! That’s how you made me!”

Ever since I was a kid, I never believed that stork bringing the baby story. I was a curious child, obviously didn't ask my parents. So when I was 10, I told my cousin, who was 9, about how babies came out. Like I said, I was a curious child, my mind wandered. I was scared to ask my mom out of fear she would give me a hiding so I kept it to myself. The biggest mistake I had made was by telling my cousin, then she freaked out and ended up telling my mom, then my mom got real shocked with my information, and didn't say anything, I was scared that I would get hiding, until my cousin told her mother, and I was even more scared. My aunt was much worse than my mom. Luckily, I didn't get hiding because we got a phone call that my other aunt was rushed to the hospital to have her baby. One time, before my cousin was born, I went to the hospital with my dad, and I saw this pregnant lady sitting next to me, she was either in labor or having Braxton contractions, in either way she was in pain, I tried to talk to her to keep her company. That memory stays with me.

Pastor Rob had a good point. The kids have questions. He wanted to give them honest answers before the learned it from media and got misinformation. And he also admits to not being abstinent til marriage. Which kids need to learn isn’t the word thing in the world. And yes Mary made the point that parents should do it but her kids didn’t wanna listen to her you could tell that her kids didn’t feel the most comfortable with her talking about it and she wasn’t even comfortable talking about it. When parents do that that’s how misinformation spreads and that’s how kids don’t actually learn until they do something stupid

Pastor Rob is a complete Idiot and hypocrite on all levels. I grew up in the south. Never could and still can not stand ANY southern pastor/preacher. They twist and turn the bible to suit them. One side of the tracks says dancing is ok, the other says Foot Loose is wrong. One side can drink the other can not. Funny thing is they all use the same bible.

It's weird how the parents who believe children should learn about sex from them alone are the ones least likely to have the full talk with them. They see their children or their babies, but a teacher is seeing them as they are, young adults who are already getting information on it and need to be set straight. Mary is such a judgemental uptight person that is perfectly normal for Missey not to want to ask her those questions. She'd probably give her a half asked answer and if she asked more questions she'd get upset she was being too curious.

@@KeithMcormack895 One of my pet peeves is when Person A points out something people do that is illogical, inconsistent, hypocritical, immoral and /or dumb and then Person B responds by saying that a person has a right to do this. I agree that if an action isn’t illegal then technically a person has a right to do it. However, Person A never said it was illegal. They just said it was dumb to do it. For example, a person has every right to spend all their money on lottery tickets. However, that doesn’t mean it is a good idea and I have a right to say it isn’t a good idea. We aren’t arguing about the legality of an action but whether or not the action is a good idea. If a person gives you a legitimate criticism about your actions and your only defense is, “It is my right to do this.” , then you are basically admitting that your actions are unwise or immoral.

We'll see how this all works out. At this point - both George and Mary have an interest in people other than each other - but - none of them have actually done anything overt yet. George and Brenda have come to have feelings for each other but - they both feel terrible about it and nothing has actually happened. So they are in the resisting temptation phase of things. Mary and Pastor Rob are also finding each other attractive but it's hard to day how close they are to something happening. I think the show is intentionally teasing us here. There really isn't any telling what is going to happen though. Things might happen with Brenda and Pastor Rob but - for all we know - things could happen with someone we've never heard of yet. Who would have thought that Georgie would end up making Mandy pregnant? Even there we don't know. Mary was pregnant and lost the baby. Who knows what's going to happen? It was only after the actor who played Brenda's husband got a better job on another show - that his character left Brenda. If that actor hadn't left the show - what would have happened with George and Brenda - I can't say - but it didn't start until that happened. .

Honestly my theory is that no one cheated. Adult Sheldon states that he came home from school for spring break and his mother was at Bible study. That’s when he went into his parents room and saw his dad with another woman. But at this moment, Mary isn’t with the Church at all. In fact, both of his parents are under/unemployed. I think Sheldon saw his parents having sex and mistook Mary for someone else. I think the reason why he was never corrected is because he thinks he saw infidelity and is mortified to talk about it and his parents think he saw George railing Mary and they’re mortified to talk about it. So no one talks about it.

Strangely enough there were other books of the "Bible" that were never included because at the Council of Nicea, the various factions of Christianity voted on which books would form the new "Bible". One of those books stated that Mary Magdalene was the Companion of Jesus, which in that language of that period meant "wife".
