Ok 1. Georgie is a dumbass, no arguments there. But to be fare, Georgie is more or less already grown up and had learned the basic values of hard work and the value of a dollar. 2. Missy isn't dumb in the slightest. She's your typical little girl that just wants to be seen and be just as valued as her over achieving twin. Missy really tries to shine in her own right but is almost always shoved aside or dismissed because Sheldon believes his wants are more important than anyone else. 3. Sheldon never really asks for anything more like he demands it. Like when Missy just wanted to go to the next town over for something the whole family could possibly enjoy and was very doable, George and Mary say no but Sheldon comes out and says he needs to go several states over to see a science lecture, they can't pack theirs and Sheldons bags fast enough.

Sheldon has hundreds of dollars worth of comics and hundreds more worth of train sets that his parents gifted him not including the sets his dad gives him for doing taxes. Total private use of the garage when he's home. I'd say he had plenty before he got the computer. As for Missy and the town over, my mistake. She wanted a book, A BOOK, at the book fair instead her parents told her to rent it from the school library. The only copy available had dried snot in it. Sheldon even mocks her about it comparing it to his computer. So yeah, Sheldon is spoiled.

@Christopher Bingham Sheldon is completely pampered by his mom and grandma. This has extended to even the adult Sheldon. Just because he is "special" he isn't taught the realities of the life. Only his dad has ever bothered to do it throughout the series. And what did that get him - constant demeaning comments from Sheldon. Plus your point of Missy being bad just cuz she bragged is completely unfair. In the episode where the twins go for study, it is very obvious that Missy is neglected by her family. Sheldon is given everything and all his demands met. Naturally a small girl will be happy that for once she got something and her brother didn't. I've always said that despite Mary seeming like a great mother she does more harm than good

Also in what I think is this current season or last season it’s pointed out that she always gets what she wants (much like Sheldon). In the episode George says that he didn’t want to live next to Mary’s mom and be a football coach but he did it anyways because Mary wanted to be by her mother so George had to get a job as a coach to support their family.

She was strict about religion but she knows Sheldon never believed in God and others had a slight belive in God... So she kept it lose .... I am indian but my uncle and aunt are Christian and were very forcing of religion when I was young ... I mean if my cousin even disagreed with anything they would be punished or scolded in a very harsh manner .... Most times Mary says something, rolls her eyes and tries to ignore or convince her children rather than force....

The worst part is, it wasn't even wrapped up as a Xmas/bday present, or the promise for Missy and Georgie to get something of equal value. When Sheldon cut the hair of Missy's doll Missy punched on his eyes leaving a mark on it, but still Mary didn't take actions against Missy and said Sheldon deserves it, if I was in the place of Mary I would have punished Missy. If you are saying that Mary neglected Missy more than George does why did Missy said that she will choose to live with Mary if her parents divorced. When there was an incident where Mary and George decided to live in seperate house it didn't affect Missy and Sheldon in terms of their comfortability but Georgie who chose to live with his father find difficultness in managing cooking food and managing laundry.

@@christopherbingham5092 Thank God I found a person who feels the same way I feel. I only watched first two season and I like Sheldon and Mary lot more than the rest. Of course, he may be annoying and naughty at some times, but Sheldon never lies to his mom, and he still goes to church despite being an atheist to make his mom happy unlike the other kids. It's hypocritical to say children can have favoritism but parents can't. Sheldon does all the taxes, and he never asked their parents to get a share of his money, I remember in some episode when George took Missy and Sheldon for twin test, missy demanded George to give her half of what he earned from test. Mary doesn't have much favoritism with their child as many in the comments claim, there are many instances where Mary scolded and punished Sheldon. When Sheldon cut the hair of Missy's doll Missy punched on his eyes leaving a mark on it, but still Mary didn't take any actions against Missy and said Sheldon deserves it, if I was in the place of Mary, I would have definitely punished Missy. If Mary disliked Missy than George does, why did she said if her parents get divorced, she will choose to live with mom. I had never found an instance where Mary complaining the family that no one is helping her in the household work, I am sure that if Mary were paid for such work elsewhere, she could potentially earn more than George.

Just saw this episode, and laughed my ass off when they quoted the system new at $1,000. Today you can build a system 100 times better for under that price, but as far as the Tandy SL went, they started at $2300+, not $1000. When that PC came out and I trained sales on it, my district manager ripped me off of over 160 hours of OT, and lost in court about it. The funny thing though, when he ripped me off, I started answering the phone in a Texan accent "Let ma tak 2 U about the Tandy 1000 SL, da Tandy SL is a piece of sht" Low and behold, it was my DM asking me to work an additional 40 hours, then asked me why da hell was I answering the phone like that. Said are you gonna pay me the 160 hours? His reply was no. Recorded the whole thing with their own equipment lol. I said no, he fired me and I left with a years copies of the printed white receipts. When he lied in court, produced them all, and he lost. That job I will never miss. And yes, it was childish, but well worth it. Imagine putting in 300+ hours running to stores to run them, not being a manager. I was 19. Used up a lot of gas. Got my direct deposit slip handed to me, showing what was going on that night. Guess what? The dm changed it to 120 hours after printing. Didn't even know it till my debit card declined. They didn't have visa and my debit cards yet. Called my bank to find out I only got about $640. I paid off my gas cards day prior, so when RS took back my money, was hit with over 44 $15 fees, which ate every penny up. Radio Shack was a very corrupt company.

Part of it is he isn't the baby of the family and a twin. So once he and Missy came along Georgie is going to get a lot less attention from his parents. Part of it is that while Sheldon isn't developmentally disabled, he is in a sense a special needs child. His intellect requires constant stimulation and he has to be monitored for fear he might do something that would burn the house down or injure himself as his intellectual curiosity outruns his wisdom. Ironically, if Georgie had really been good at football, his father likely would have showered him with attention trying to get him to college ball and there likely would have been quite the battle over sending Sheldon to some summer science camp or sending Georgie to sports camps. None of this excuses the way they neglected Georgie in many ways, but the flip side of that is it perhaps nurtured an independent nature in him that helped him in business.
