Honestly, if I were to have had to be required to take a swim test, I would have done the same thing by skipping school. At least the one time in P.E., I would have had to swim, it was optional. And that was when I was in 6th Grade. I was terrified going into 6th Grade, until I was told by one of the P.E. teachers that it wasn't mandatory to swim, and if I wasn't going to swim, I had to walk the bleachers instead. Might I say, I loved walking the bleachers. I always had some catchy Wizard of Oz or Journey Beyond Sodor tune stuck in my head.
