Young Strokes and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS)

I have been saying since 2015 to add this screening to the stroke guidelines, I am a retired emergency nurse, who suffered a stroke due to having APS and not knowing I had APS until the stroke. I knew it wasn’t on the guidelines, and kept insisting it should be. I am so glad it finally is, thank you

I had migraines for a year, literally every single day, and then had a stroke aged 27 (f). Took so many different tests over a six month period, and I finally got my second repeat positive for all three antibodies in January! I’ve started warfarin therapy but my INR is creeping up very very slowly. Thanks for super informative video, will be sending this to help people around me understand the diagnosis!

I'm from the States and was Just diagnosed with APS. I am a bit shy from turning 50 and had my cluster of strokes back in February. Thank you for putting this video together and explaining things in such a easy way to understand.
