Right???? I literally just drove across town about an hour ago (midnight), because my 23 year old niece said she doesn’t feel well. Took her meds and treats to make her feel better. I cannot imagine just neglecting my own child in my own house like this

I just can’t… the previous video I watched was about parents who fought for their child in medical system and the child eventually died. Autopsy concluded that medical neglect contributed to her death. The parents were absolutely heartbroken. And now this video about parents who denied their child the medical care she so obviously needed. This is so bloody unfair. ☹️

I’m pretty sure this is the case and this is also what the police is investigating. The sheriff was so careful with his words, and I think the reason is they don’t want to jeopardize the investigation by telling too much too early. As he didn’t tell what the injuries were, maybe the story parents told and the autopsy results don’t match or there were former untreated injuries and they need to be careful not to tell it out loud, leaving the suspects believing they sold the story. I hope to see in the future what was happening on the background with gathering the evidence, though. I really hope the investigators are handling this case with the most diligence and gather solid evidence against them. This absolutely mind-blowing to think that someone could leave their unconcious child without medical care. I’m more careful with my dog’s health issues than these parents.

My son got cancer at 17 but was in and out of the hospital three different times and spent 5 hours at his pediatrician’s office as she ran lab after lab, all over the course of 19 days before we got a diagnosis. I spent more than 100 days living in the hospital with him, did everything I could for four years as he had a bone marrow transplant and battled GvHD (graft vs. host disease) before passing away. I didn’t care about anything other than getting him well, or once he had to go on hospice care, work continuously with the hospice team to make sure he had the best life he could until I lost him. I cannot fathom being so afraid or indifferent as to not take my suffering child to the hospital. Poor child. She deserved better. If I could have moved mountains so my son could have the life he deserved, I’d do anything to get those mountains moved for him.

And I believe your opinion is right, there are many moms who are jealous of their younger daughters, not only because her daughter is younger, and she is now older, but the daughter is innocent while the mother’s innocence is forever gone, so they feel resentment towards the daughter and allow bad things to happen to her, including The new boyfriend or the stepdad molesting her or abusing her

The sheriff said the parents did not report it because they didn't want to bring attention to themselves. Could be a few things: *The parents inflicted the injury *The child attempted to take her own life *Illegal activity in the house that was unrelated to the child might get exposed if authorities came into the house

9 days before her 13th birthday. 😢 And that’s always a big deal and exciting to celebrate now going into your teens. Both my nephews are 14 and one of my nieces is 15 and I would absolutely lose myself if they weren’t here. My world would be over. That poor girl, my heart breaks for her. The life she had ahead and to be ripped away. I hope she’s at peace in heaven and showered with love. ❤

This is sickening, no excuses will suffice. I will never be able to understand why parents neglect their children. What were they afraid of? Not providing access to healthcare to a child is abuse as well. It seems like parental abuse is constantly on the news. As far as the go fund me the aunt started, I would feel more comfortable donating directly to the funeral home. I feel awful for Miranda, laying on a pallet for 4 days, that's unimaginable. So, no one is saying what happened to this kid for her to be unconscious for four days? Do the parents not know or are they the ones who caused her to be unconscious? If my kid passed out, and didn’t regain consciousness after 10 mins, I’d be rushing her to the ER. She obviously suffered some kind of brain/head trauma. I’m so sick of how parents raise their kids today. Most responsibilities are pushed on someone else. They barely spend time with their kids, let alone take care of their needs. Kids today are raising themselves. Today’s Mom and Dad only have time for themselves. It’s a “Me” society. I work in education and see it everyday.

@Gimpygladiator
@Gimpygladiator 3 ай бұрын
Not defending them, but saying "cheerleader" creates an image of a happy, thriving, active kid who was likely athletic and popular. It sets her apart, makes her identifiable, relatable, giving people a mental image beyond "6th grader" and more "kid who liked rollercoasters" (for example - not that I know if she actually liked coasters)... when tragedy hits, the focus tends to be on perpetrators, so creating a mental image of an active, social child makes it all the more heartbreaking.
