If you plan to make one get it professionally done or you will most likely have a difficult time getting insurance. I sell insurance in Colorado and I don't know of any company that will insure converted campers that aren't done professionally.

FLORB More and more people are getting fed up with Renting - weather it’s the Forever Increasing high rents ( BECAUSE OF the Forever Increasing High Taxes ) or because they WANT TO OWN their own home - or BOTH. As I’ve been researching being COMPLETELY OFF GRID, I discovered the Mobile Home Community and now the TINY TRAILER HOME. I sooo, love it! We weren’t meant to be ENSLAVED - we’re meant to be ABSOLUTELY FREE! Stationary Homes are OVER PRICED AND OVER VALUED. The property tax and assessments need to go. If someone wants to sell their home, let them do it in a FREE MARKET SYSTEM. Chris Huynh Vancouver Island is! Rains for 60% of the year, lots of bear & mountain lion but no small game for hunting. It’s a wet, dense nightmare. Granted she has all of her supplies. The people on TV can only take 10 or 15 items with them as part of the challenge. Still one hell of a place to camp though.
