Someone may have suggested this but I’ll throw it out there - leave a “service loop” on all your wiring. A little extra in case you need a splice, or something breaks. You’ll see those on telephone poles. There’s always a loop of wire they can use to fix a broken connection, or to splice. Nice work, and great videography too! Be safe..

The van is a 2007 Chevy Express, and used as a mobile bike shop at times. So that is the problem, as I have tires hanging off the walls most of the summer, simply so that I'm not spending a lot of time loading/unloading. I definitely do want to finish off the walls, then again... tires HA! I may just start with the bed, adn finish off a box over one of the wheel wells. Although I am retired, I still have the shop open part time, and in a bit (whatever that is) will simply close it. So truthfully, it will be very difficult to do anything while the shop is still open. HA! I like the ideas though, and like you, have watched a TON of videos, with of course yours being my favorite.

Another gorgeous woman showing the world; You aren't just a pretty face! Decades ago I built a frame in the back of my 89 pickup under a topper. I fit a three drawers underneath of my single mattress and saved money for my rodeo trips. Not having the hotel bill was a God send. Now I am refitting my 27' camper to be my toy hauler for my motorcycle which has seen more miles than my pickup. No Young Lady I am not bragging, I am letting you know from my experience as an old cowboy biker that works as a carpenter how much your camper/ home impresses me. Multi function is the key to living small. Yes all that have partners have sat on the throne and carried on conversations! Not in the beginning but it will happen. Your build is ingenious and survivable! Too often folks over think and over do when all we truly need is the basics. Even from my days driving OTR trucking I couldn't pee or poop in my sleeper ( ya don't **** where you sleep)! In an emergency I can understand but as healthy humans we clean up and clean out immediately because smells do linger. Great video and great build! Last year I took a trip to Maine with 11 other kickers for the fall foliage and I love your state! The only suggestion I might make; I enjoy a steaming bowl of oatmeal in the morning as I watch the sunrise. My trusty JetBoil stove is safe for your kind of camper and would make a terrific cup of hot chocolate for colder eves without having to get out to heat water. Plus in an emergency or bad weather you could have a couple dehydrated meals stored just for the situation. With so many utubers making videos and pushing products I enjoyed you and your video and will subscribe just to see your wonderful smile. Thank You! With Respect and Love, You are in my prayers Hoka Hey

Stunning job on the cabin, Woodsy, well done.👍 Just thinking for a safety feature, if you ever had a sketchy situation where you had to leave fast, I worry that you would have to leave the cabin and go outside to get into the drivers seat. That may not be safe. Why not make those windows behind your bed into sliders so you could use them to get to/ slide into the drivers seat without going outside? This way you stay away from any unsafe people/situations and can drive away safely. Just a thought! Safe travels.

My wife and I are looking for a way to save money on weekend trips around New England, so I've been looking at a LOT of DIY camper videos. I love your kitchen and pantry solution; it's my favorite design so far. I'm wondering if I could make something with a countertop that has two boards/layers connected by a piano hinge, and the top one flips over to cover the hallway area. I'd have to lower the countertop height so it matched the bed frame, but I think it would work. I like you choice to keep the water outside the cabin. I'll probably leave the sink and grey water outside as well. GREAT JOB! Thank you for sharing!

A true masterpiece you built !! I see everyone saying simple but honestly it's kind of complicated to be able to puzzle in perfectly all those different components you have working together to create that highly functional space. You took it to the next level though aesthetically beautiful and looks like it will last a long time with the materials you used. I have a minivan no build I just don't have the skills or the patience to put something together also for me it was important to be able to easily convert back to a family van in case I had to ever sell the van. I do have a box trailer I would love to put a build in it but it will probably end up with no build as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful camper !! I've been debating if I wanted to do this instead of a van/suv. Great build out! 💚

Oh cool! Did I inspire you at all?! A van build out is also really neat. Happy planning!! 📝
