Making Wu a baby/young again was such a smart writing move. Even when the ninja found him, he couldn’t guide them against the SoG or Iron Baron. If Wu was normal in those seasons, I imagine he would’ve figured out Harumi’s secret really quickly and befriended the dragons a lot faster in the First Realm. It forced the ninja to keep relying on their own instincts as a group to deal with the threats at hand, which is exactly what Wu wanted them to do in the first place.
