Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten Talk Their Connection on Screen in Maxton Hall

Young Entertainment is back with an exclusive interview with Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, who star in Maxton Hall - The World Between Us, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 9. Damian plays James Beaufort and Harriet plays Ruby Bell, who start off as enemies but with an unexpected spark between them. The show was recently renewed for a second season.

The second question's answers. I would have answered the same way as Harriet. I think the story is primarily about James finding himself. Ruby knows who she is and what she wants and that challenges James' reality. At the end of the first season. He's still in the middle of that, he is still a jerk. By the end of the 3rd book, he evolves into something different. But, he's still in the self-destruction phase.

Huh. In another interview, Damian said he thought he and Harriet were the inverse of their characters. After watching this one, I can definitely see it! I also wonder just how brutal they were to each other to "get into character" for the hate scenes. Damian has brought it up so many times now he seems slightly..traumatized?

Ja aber ist doch logisch. Sie kann englisch nur von der schule.. er dagegen hat eine zeitlang in new york gelebt und dort auf eine privat schule englisch gelernt!! er war mir viel mehr unterwegs als sie, logisch das sein englisch auch dementsprechend besser ist
