Here's my thing the moment they had before the wedding wasn't cool because it's like he's playing games with Liza. He went to her room the night before drunk telling her he don't wanna marry Claire he loves Liza. She wakes up and he's gone dressed and ready to get married and then before the ceremony he tells her that he needs to get over her cause he always coming back to her and then gets married but then every time Charles and Liza get closer and closer to being serious in their relationship Josh pops up again like that's not fair for Liza. The writers are making Josh look wishy washy.

Seems that Josh is able to handle difficult issues when it is not about Liza. Who has a job and who is able to raise her daughter. She made a mistake when she lied about her age : Charles seems like he is happy with her

The writers took away the character of Charles and did in a few episodes a baseless character degradation which did not align with the Charles we came to know. Not to mention, Liza had a moment to show growth of compromising or given my it a chance but just leaves it to go away? What?! I mean to build this relationship, chemistry, and intimacy between the characters for years then to all of a sudden do an about face makes no sense! Ahhh! Rant done. In my mind the show ended last season and she was giving it thought to say let's give it more then me to blend our families and later as they're TOGETHER and supportive of one another one stays and runs the company while the other sets off to become an author. All with the live and support of family, friends, and love from coworkers. That would have made more sense. 😤😒🙂👍

Yes, I agree. The writers had a chance to create something good with Charles and Liza. Their chemistry was off the charts and the writers just destroyed both of their characters. They also made many other bad decisions with how they rewrote Kelsey’s ending.

The writers threw Charles under the claw... He reacts at the very last minute. He really loves her. But she was blind, never realized what he's done for her. Josh was young. His newborn baby helped him to grow up and become a young adult. The last wave pushing the former wave. Feelings transgressing every boundaries, in a optimistic pov. ( Old generaion : they should leave and stay on a tiny sunny island where Charles would write books and maybe some poetry and Liza could run the company with Kelsey.)
