@@matthewtonna1 Because that is the denomination of the plates. 4x45lb plates each side plus a 45lb bar. 45x9=405. 45lbs is 20.454545 kg. 405 lbs is about 184kg.

@Island Mike Pound plates have a history of not being exactly 45 lb. Some are lighter. That's why KG plates are so heavily pushed in Powerlifting.

I really love the part where his spotter wouldn’t move his hands. 8 min or so into the video. That’s a good training buddy, he knows where Kevin’s ego/headspace is at rn being this close to Olympia, and doesn’t want to let him hurt himself by accident by pushing too far. From 8:15 the guy doing dumbbell pullovers is turning them into a kind of modified skullcrusher which is not the way to do them if your aim is to work lats. The arms should be slightly bent and locked in position throughout the movement. From 9:15 onwards Kevin uses perfect form and shows how it should be done.
