My problem is perfectionism. I always try to get just a liiiiittle bit closer & it never fails I always gamble a tiny bit more than I should and I manage to flood 1 or 2. One thing it has taught me is how to fix a flooded cuticle. I am working on letting my initial placement be close enough and just move on because the only person who will ever notice that fraction of a millimeter is me so i really need to learn to let it go.

@youngnailsinc I think it would be helpful if they mentioned it in the lesson that you can't be perfect, there is ALWAYS a tiny bit of space. And that space is far better than flooding because it is less likely to have lifting. It has gotten easier for me since I realized this. I hope I'm not the only person who sees every tiny flaw when I do my own nails & it drives me NUTZ

I’m trying to learn how to do acrylic overlay on my toenails. How do I do this when I’m doing it myself and can’t really position my toes down
@youngnailsinc5 ай бұрын
When doing acrylic on your own toenails, trying to get the best positioning can be tricky. You may not be able to get the perfect angle, but if you work with small pearls of acrylic, you should be able to move the product with your brush rather than trying to get it to flow. Keep in mind that you are not going to be using a large pearl to build structure, you will just be doing a thin overlay for strength or color.

What is the main cause of lifting?
@youngnailsinc5 ай бұрын
Typically it can come back to the prep of the natural nails, but it could be different on a case by case basis.
