I needed this because sometimes I overthink things or mess it up and it becomes too thick or wide and It takes me WAY too long to file, that’s what I spend most time doing. They may end up looking decent but it takes too long to get there.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve went to a salon and end up with my nails looking like big chiclet gum looking nails I’ve been so disappointed until I just stop going to get my nails done. I appreciate how you explain the correct techniques.

Omg..... It was frustrating for years when I’d get my nails done. I felt that although my nail bed was slightly wide my nails didn’t have to be. OMG. I had acrylic nails many years ago but stopped for several issues. The main problem was almost every salon would rush to increase their volume of customers so they would make the nails thick and sloppy then try to file them down so much and hurt my sidewalls skin which was irritating and didn't save any time. When I would request that they make them narrower and thinner they said they couldn't do it and looked at me as if I was crazy. Thank you for your explanation and validating me.
