I was so happy I found a salon that worked with nails and when I showed the tech this set, they were so confused on how to get the dimensional look. She used full cover extensions and filled the bottom of my nails with the gel/glitter mix. They look nice, but I know they would have looked even nicer if I went to someone that studies the Way of Melissa. 💖

So this may seem silly. I've been doing gel nails for about 3 months and im pretty good at it. But the one thing I still struggle with is just basic gel polish application. I balance my hand on my other hand, I've tried using a detailer brush to go around the cuticles, but I still haven't mastered it yet and I would love to get some more tips and tricks so that I can be more successful. The detailer brush tip really helped me. If I flood the cuticle on my non dominant pinky, I just use a clean up #2 brush dipped in alcohol. Then redo the cuticle area with the tiny detailer brush. Works perfectly.
