Analysing this setup, I realise why it is so effective. He places his two most powerful weapons (corn cannons, gloomshrooms) in a safe medium which is the pool. No digger zombie to deal with, no gargantuans, no zomboni, no catapult zombies. And they can provide support to lanes outside the pool. In military terms, he has heavy artillery support from an impassable hill (metaphor for pool) which beats down any strong enemy units.

Rows 2 and 5 have no torchwood. I can tell that the purpose is to not have fire peas, cause that cancels the slow from melon, but that's not worth it. The extra dps from the slow+glooms is prob not worth swapping the melon for a torch, which equals 4 gatlings and 16 regular peashooters. On the otherhand, if you observe rows 1 and 6, the splash from winter melon slows those rows as well, but the fire peas unfreeze the first zombie in those lanes, and yet the weaker outer rows (without pool gloom damage) are sufficient. You could argue that the winter melon is supposed to slow the zombies behind the first gargantuar, making it worth it. There is the option of keeping the winter melon and replacing the gatling pea with a torchwood.

This strategy may be improved, i have some points u may consider about. 1. The position of two cattails, they are used to kill balloons but two cattails at 3 columns may let balloons land on cobs. 2. Gatling peas on row 2 and 5, may not provide stable damage because if gargantuars are in front and Jack In Box zombies are behind then there will be a big risk, so i think put fume-shroom at (2, 6) (2, 5) and (5,6) (5,5) is better and winter melons can be put behind. 3. Bungees. There may be risks at (3,1)(3,6) which u may not use ice shroom to kill bungees( I didn’t calculate this is by my experiences) 4.Jack-In-The-Box zombies. There are two types of JITB zombies: early explode and late explode, The earliest time that it explodes is 430cs(4.3s) for early explode and 13s for late explode since it refreshes, general ways to control it are by ice shrooms, nuke(Doom shrooms) and jalapeño with cherry. How are u going to control the explosion? 😊

@@Creepersoop fyi, cattails have balloons as their first priority, changing the position wont change anything except the cattails' projectiles reaching the balloons slower. those two glooms in the back are already taking care of the diggers, and balloons ignores your defense until they get hit by cattails, if they keep prioritizing the diggers, the balloons wont have trouble setting off all your lawnmowers and eating your brains.

@@DavidZendo98 You can use shovel to take pumpkin out, just move your cursor a little bit lower when targeting a plant with a shovel. You should see the pumpkin highlighted a bit - it means that shovel will take it out, and not the plant. And to fix the pumpkin or wallnut you need to buy special upgrade from Crazy Dave

This guy use a lot of instants because of the Firepeas ineffectivity against Gigas. And despite all of those instants consumed, he still lose his torchwood 3.) Winter Melon + Fume shrooms & glooms proper formation is better than the Firepeas 4.) Digger & Imps only handled by 1 glooms so the pumpkins will have to be repaired more often. 5.) No one spesific tiles to use Ice shrooms so when the Gigas & Zombonis already crowded this defense, it would be really hard to find a spot to plant ice shrooms 6.) 4 cob build with a lot of instants usage & no laddering need 4 twin sunflowers, not just 2 or even no twin sunflowers

@@cllee622 Depending on your setup and if you can afford doing it, using spikeweeds can be better than using spikerocks (having and using both is better tho). The thing with using spikerocks is that now you have another plant to maintain (with a very slow recharge) cuz they break after killing 9 zombonis, and if multiple zombonis are on the same spot they use multiple uses of spikerocks, so they last less than usual, and due to they slow recharge you won't be able to maintain them. With spikeweeds you don't have to maintain another plant and they can kill multiple zombonis at the same time (they kill themselves tho). The problem is that doing that costs a lot of sun

Tried out the strat. Managing it can be hard. All the zombies need is a little stroke of luck to crush through my lines and then it will cause chaos. Especially if you don’t have any sunflowers to keep the production of sun steady to keep reinforcing the pumpkins and put down instant plants. Only made it to 45 flags with this strategy.

@@dhrumildave4221 fyi theres two ways to fire a cobcannon, first is clicking it and the target, the second is to hold the cobcannon and release on the target. if u look carefully, he's using the second option.

Bro there's literally so many weakness in this build. Here's some of it 1.) There's no laddering so it requires pumpkin and its imitater. So you won't be having imitater ice shroom. 2.) This guy use a lot of instants because of the Firepeas ineffectivity against Gigas. And despite all of those instants consumed, he still lose his torchwood 3.) Winter Melon + Fume shrooms & glooms proper formation is better than the Firepeas 4.) Digger & Imps only handled by 1 glooms so the pumpkins will have to be repaired more often. 5.) No one spesific tiles to use Ice shrooms so when the Gigas & Zombonis already crowded this defense, it would be really hard to find a spot to plant ice shrooms 6.) 4 cob build with a lot of instants usage & no laddering need 4 twin sunflowers, not just 2 or even no twin sunflowers

how did you set this up? when i account for the tunneling zombies the gargantuars get me. when i focus on cob cannons i can't set up the gloom shrooms and while waiting to place down the cob cannons so i don't have to remove any plants i get stuck with a bunch of zombies pressing two kernel-pults which eats up sun for protection and it leaves me with inadequate offense during the later waves. there has to be a specific starting formation that allows for the most efficient placement (mainly not having to replace plants) i can't even beat the 15 flag high score i got while not using this strategy. any tips?

My advice is that you have to think what you gonna do next,It's very important to caculate and set up the line up that you want without mistake. Second, This endless mode not only build a good formation but also require good flexible+ keepcalm ( stay calm when a huge waves of garganturars come to use insta boom + cob canon or sacrifice some plants to buy more time for peashooter deal damage,...).The last thing is just proactive in any situation. Sorry mah eng is so bad xD
