Thanks, these videos are great. We are going with our 2 and 7 year-old as we especially like the idea of the bigger rooms compared to other resorts for the kids. How is the shading / umbrella situation at the pool areas? Is there protection so you are not getting roasted in the sun all day?

Thank you Evan and that is very exciting, I'm sure all will have a great time. The shading at the pool by the older towers is very well shaded. The pool by the new tower not as much. The beach is pretty wide open for sun outside of a couple of palm trees

We went in June. I don't know if specific months are worse, but I know certain sides of the island aren't affected due to the direction it comes in.

I did not, and I didn't take mine but I would think b/c you are only 15 min from the airport that it would be a restricted fly zone but I could be wrong.

You are welcome. I don't believe so, the nightly entertainment from what I could see were the shows, that were "ok" from my experience.

We had them booked ahead of time. We also ended up cancelling our last cabana day due to the seaweed

Ziva for me, price is better, food quality is very similar, but the rooms will be smaller at Ziva so if you want space then Jewel Grande is the place for your. Ziva has more for kids to do as well.
