This is just eq that makes them brighter or more upper midrange forward. Using them dry is probably best, as this eq is far too bright. Unless you actually need it for hearing loss, which is what it’s designed for. But yeah getting aftermarket tips is totally smart, i got some foam tips for my pros

If you have airpods pro gen1, you can turn them on, i remember the options were 2 1 1, for slightly brighter sounds. But for Airpods Pro gen2 or Airpods Max, they are already good just dont do anything:)

It doesn't work with the Apple Watch. Not a psychopath for not wanting to take the bulk of a phone with me on a run. Why can't Apple get with the f'ing program and a) allow user created EQ profile (not just on the music app with it's presets) and b) retain these custom settings for sound ON the earbuds themselves like pretty much every other earbud manufacturer allows? Then this EQ or 'custom tuning' can be used with ANY source. People have been screaming for the basic EQ customisation for years (not presets) and it falls on deaf ears. This is just one reason why people hate on apple so much - just listen to the people's request for these features for Pete's sake.
