I heard Chase from you guys and opened an account. I never been disappointed. I love it!

100% HSBC and First Direct have the worst APPs plus the login security is really confusing. I've had the switching cash from both and then moved on don't think I would go back...

I totally agree for first direct.... for a branch-free app I thought they were meant to be amazing on the app side, and they just weren't.

Had a nightmare trying to transfer fixed cash isa from halifax to 212 gave up eventually put it in bank and lost 10,000 isa allowance just to get it moved why not have a standard transfer form that works for different banks just a suggestion 👍 love the show

What's wrong with 212s transfer form?

I moved a Halifax cash ISA to InvestEngine and gave up... tried again with 212 and it went through, but they counted it as this years allowance - that said, they fixed it for me quickly after I mailed them. I don't think they were ready for the number of customers they attracted in a short space of time. Day to day they're decent though.

I've just transferred my Halifax fixed cash ISA to 212. No issues. Went very smoothly.

@@karendavies3900it's good to know they are getting it right now. Back in April they didn't even have a cash ISA, and were forced to stop transfers into S+S ISAs for a bit. I think that was just a blip. I've been really impressed with them.

I've switched amongst most of the current accounts - HSBC is "OK"... one thing it does well, that others don't, is show you your direct debits in advance of them going out. Likewise, I could see my salary is going to get paid tomorrow (Monday) back on Friday. Obviously Chase does this as do some others, but the traditional banks/building societies don't (e.g. Barclays, Santanda or Nationwide). Agree that setting up new payees with HSBC is crap tho, same with FD... TSB were absolutely shocking... nice app, but things took days to process. Cashback etc was utterly random. Chase for the cashback and the decent app, Starling is my favourite app and now has a nice savings account. I've kept HSBC to have a "real" bank with a branch locally. Free AppleTV or DIsney or cinema tickets don't make up for a bank not performing its core function well!

I find the Chase app horrible

Chase are not going to be great for savings moving forwards. They keep lowering their rates, and only offer 6 month temporary bonus rates for new customers. If they keep the 1% card cashback, I think they'll look to make more profit on savings... So continued lower rates
