I have a lot of yellow to my skin, I’m pale (currently) and my foundations always have to be very yellow (I also view my veins as being pretty green). Ive always thought I had a warm skin tone. I thought I fit into the deep autumn category. But I’ve learned recently by holding various color swatches against myself in daylight with no makeup that bright cool color (cobalt blue) looks best on me. Cool muted washes me out, bright warm (yellow) looks horrible on me, and muted warm washes me out as well so this is so confusing 😂 I wonder if this has been the case for anyone else.

My natural hair (from what I can remember/see of my roots) is what I would call a dark ashy brown (kind of a mouse color). My eyes are a deep brown (maybe with a hint of red). My eyebrows are basically black.

I see some foundations that say they have a peach undertone. They typically also offer golden undertone, which you included with warm undertones. Can you advise re: peach? Is that warm or cool? The makeup brands are trending towards consistency of warm, neutral, or cool, but a few like to be a little extra, without enough info/context.

I have cool skin and agree with the bit about bronzer. I use a very soft blush in the same way most people use bronzer to look "sun kissed".

Do all fully cool palettes use cool foundation with pink based foundation? Because neutral works best for me.

If you are a neutral cool. What would you use to contour under your cheek bones, below your blush? On the typical day I don't wear a lot of makeup but when I do go out at night I do like to do some highlighting and contouring.

When it comes to contour the only thing that doesn’t look stark/weird on me is using a full on (neutral, medium) grey lipstick. It’s a matte in a classic bullet formula so it’s quite perfect. If I had to guess, I’d say I’m neutral leaning warm, but because I’m so fair, anything slightly cool or warm looks magnified. Basically most contour products look orange on me and the rest of them look like dirt. My eyes have both cool and warm traits but lean more cool. And my natural hair color have a lot of neutral but obviously lean warm, being a golden red. But at the same time, I tan super easy. And have natural freckles. My mom is a classic cool undertoned scandinavian redhead, and my dad is super warm toned, deeper skin with deep Black hair and dark eyes. I guess I’m a near a perfect mix of my parents colouring.

I should be more warm..because im a natural strawberry blonde...but now that im a brunette...i pick the lightest foundation shade with a slight pink. Undertone....and i tend to look better in jewel tone clothing...dark grey and drk brwn eye makeup....and red or pinkish lip...i like berry colored lips during holidays.
