Dear LORD! This cover is absolutely amazing! First you build tension with the brass and strings, then you jump into the main part of the song, with the choir and strings continously building more tension. Next you transition to the more whimsical Soul segments with the out of key Your Best Friend Motif that adds to the horrifyingly uncanny feel of the song, but then it jumps back into the main fight with the brass section projecting SO much power and dread, the transition creating a juxtaposition that makes it feel even more impactful, and the strings are going along in the background in a way that sounds almost like screaming! Then you just keep going, making each Soul section feel unbelievably unique (the Justice Segment is a personal favorite of mine). Then when the Souls start to rebel, everything calms down, but that dread is still in the air, before they start healing the player and the Your Best Friend motif starts playing on piano. The song then turns heroic and hopeful, but there's still an air of darkness in the song and so the pressure just builds and builds between these two sides of the song to the final choir at the end as Flowey is brought to zero, which GOD DAMN, is just so beautiful; it just oozes a sort of heroic, bittersweet melancholy, really showing off through sound the tragedy of this character. This is by far the most expressive, full, and stylistic rendition of this song and by far you have one of the best styles of orchestration in the Undertale Community and would give Rush Garcia a run for his money. Excellent job!

The Finale! It has no Bells! What happened to the bells?!? The bells are literally the most important part of the composition in the finale and they're straight up gone, no dramatized orchestral replacement, they've just been completely forgotten. Which is really tragic because everything else was coming together so nicely. Every other section of the composition is fantastic, but without the bells you lose all the energy that the Finale is supposed to have. The choir and the 'his theme' accompaniment are a good stab at it, but you could add a hundred different melodies and have 500 people sing every note a human being can physically muster and you'd still not be able to replace the bells.

3 years later I find out about this work and its an amazing orchestral piece, there is one undertale ost that i haven't found remixed yet. "You Idiot" also by Toby Fox. If possible do you think you can make a remixed version of this for a duration of 2 minutes. I'd definitely commission it for something quite... Chilling 🙂
