@roserose-be2wq3 жыл бұрын
Do you mind explaining that part ?
@BeautifulSilence3 жыл бұрын
@@roserose-be2wq There's a trope/stereotype that-because of the lower prices and longer hours-Wal-Mart attracts people of lower socioeconomic backgrounds and other "characters" (known as People of Wal-Mart) who go shopping in various states of (un)dress and questionable clothing choices, like no shoes. The stereotype of a typical Target shopper is white, "normal," and boring in terms of what they're wearing. Another trope of white people is their fascination with and love of brunch-also probably tied to being of a higher socioeconomic background. So Dulce was making a joke about how it's usually white people shopping at Target, and how shocking it was to see another Black woman there, especially one who didn't know of a thing that Target's primary clientele is obsessed with-hence why it's a "Wal-Mart" question to ask what brunch is. And how if you were having a similar conversation at Wal-Mart, it's more likely you'd be talking to someone wearing (or not wearing) something odd-like no shoes.
