Thanks a lot for such a brilliant summary of this book ... Key takeaways from the book as I understand are : 1. Isolate 2 options at a time 2. Sequencing tasks is better than handling them parallelly 3. Plan complex projects or brain demanding activities to the first half of the day

This video only covers 1/4 sections of the book - ACT I: Problems and Decisions, and neglects: - ACT II: Stay Cool Under Pressure - ACT III: Collaborate With Others - ACT IV: Facilitate Change I highly recommend this book. I've just finished the book and it was an eye-opener.

I had the same problem. Tried it several times with a German ending email address (.de) but it didn't work. With my Gmail account (ends with .com) it worked flawlessly at first trial today.

This is why ancient African and others used symbols to convey larger bits of information in simplified forms . ("Chunking"). They left us message that only the most wise can decrypt!!! This is not a new practice at all !! It is a refound "practice" at best ....

I'm wondering how the theater analogy of your mind would translate for someone with ADHD, as in those cases, they need a certain amount of stimulus (other actors?) to function.

When deciding, it is wrong to isolate 2 options at the time. If blue is better than green and green is better than yellow, that does not mean that blue is better than yellow. Let's say you have n decisions , you would have to do n^2 comparasons to make. That means that you can make decisions only when n is small, really small.
@kajsija6 жыл бұрын
I don't have a better solution tho
@PCdoPC6 жыл бұрын
seems like an option to me: exclude the least favorites and then selecting the top n contenders, where n leads to a doable amount of comparisons
