A couple weeks ago I got to see the Used with Story of the Year. My first impression of them live was the same.. was almost disappointed in the way his vocals sounded, but as the show went on he got better and better. He can still hit the higher notes but Jeph's screams are not as good as Bert's were. I looked up why he doesn't scream online after the show because I didn't know. It seems the consensus is that he can't like he used to after vocal surgery? Makes sense, I'm a fan but not a hard-core know everything type of the Used fan. I really enjoyed the show and thought they sounded great at the end though. Story of the Year killed it as always too. Not many bands can get better with age but they have. Dan's vocals are better than ever. Love those guys!
