Good tip. Beats holding it out my vehicle window in my hand while drive to my fishing hole. Have to admit the longer the driver the better it sounded. Done the air compressor too.

Thanks. Yeah I’ve also heard that will burn up the baits as well.

@@MattLunaFishing What's your favorite buzz bait color and trailer? Skirt or no skirt? I've had my best luck with all black, biggest blade no skirt with a z craw jr.

I go with black or white. I’ve caught fish a skirt and without. I’m leaning toward no skirt. Trailer depends. I don’t have a go to right now. I have a DoIt mold plastic that I’ve been using lately that has worked well. It’s the berry bug mold. I’ve got some of that content coming soon.

This is a great video, Matt! Just started throwing a buzzbait this past weekend and was happy with the results. I think I lost the rivet at the end near the bend because after a couple catches the blade now gets caught and it starts to swim sideways. I'll be posting a video on that trip here soon, but I appreciate these tips for modifying the bait. Keep up the good work and keep on reelin!!

Awesome! Glad you liked the video! You can easily buy more rivets on the DoIt molds site! It also could be bent and needs to be adjusted! The rivets are super cheap too! Here’s a link to the DoIt site: store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5

The one blade buzzbait has this problem, lean to one direction or not go straight? how you overcome this problem?
@MattLunaFishing Жыл бұрын
You don’t. The blade turns in one direction so it automatically pulls to one side. Technically you can get blades that spin in different directions to hit the bank depending on what side you’re fishing. A double buzz doesn’t pull because the blades turn in opposite directions.

If you want that squeezing noise pit a brass bead in front then take a jack knife and ream the holes in front and back of blade! Now you have a killer buzz blade.

Granted, I only own maybe 2 total buzzbaits, (I hardly use them) I used a close pin and clipped them to a air conditioner vent. They squeal and I’m lazy lol
@MattLunaFishing3 жыл бұрын
Lol that will work but it will also kill the bait as well. Will burn them up.

Why not cut the buzzer wire off 3/8” to get a bigger space to hook the bass before you do all this.
