Hi Eevi, I purchased your Influencer Outreach last night and i just completed day 2 of the challenge. I also just created this new KZbin account so that all my social media handles will match the imprint I am using when I publish my book and typed a sincere message on the most recent post of two of my favourite people that I hope to connect with. I 0 followers on all my accounts and have not created any content yet and need to work on creating a website next. I have learned SO MANY things from you. Illustration is not a topic I needed help with as I am good at illustrating! But I am so grateful for your channel and since finding you I have held off on hitting publish on my book on amazon and I have made so many adjustments to my cover and my story as well. Thank you for all that you do. I can't wait to show you my book!

Thank you for this. I still don't get why the actual manuscript shouldn't be there. Without the actual text, it would be extremely difficult for the illustrator to meet the writer's vision of the illustrations. And this would simply prolong the whole process. What do you think?

If you feel comfortable doing so, you can absolutely share your script with your illustrator right away! Many children's authors do. Having written, co-authored, and ghostwritten 60+ children's books, I personally still prefer not to share the script, unless I have worked with an illustrator before. I so hope this answers your question.

​@@EeviJones I'm a published illustrator and I need the story. I need to know how to break out the text to be sure I do not have art in the way. I would suggest you put a NDA or a line in the contract that the illustrator cannot share or show any work until a time near publishing. Just thought I'd give you an illustrators thoughts.

If I will be using the POD option but I want to host a book launch party, how do I obtain copies to sell at the event?

Hi Shanice! How are you? If you are using POD, you will be able to order author copies directly on your KPD dashboard. I so hope this helps. Just note here that the book will already have to be published in order for us authors to order author copies. If instead you are using IngramSpark, author copies can be purchased before it is publicly available. I so hope this helps!
