Be careful who you trust and tell your problems to not everyone who smiles at you is your friend

Changing demeanors in co-workers is a big red flag. Great points made.

Yep. I learned THE HARD WAY many years ago. I’m going thru something right now where a new manager over our IT Dept is attempting to create a personal friendship with me and I’m keeping my boundaries. I can see the inappropriate interactions she has with her team (cursing & yelling at them, drinking after hours with them, micromanaging them, telling inappropriate jokes, texting outside of business hours for non-work related reasons)…I want ZERO parts. She even tried to friend me on social media. I ignored the request and put extra security on my page. My home address I provided is a PO Box too😂😂😂 She definitely doesn’t like that I keep it about business😌

Sometimes your coworkers can be very lazy when it comes to cleaning and organizing the workplace site. Yout coworkers are not your friends. Great video

Once you get too close to a coworker and get burned, only then can you understand this. I would only risk getting close to coworkers who aren't in the same department as you and you're not relying on them in some way.

As much as we would like to believe otherwise, properly placing coworkers in our lives can prevent a lot of challenges.
