Im thinking of switching to dtf from white toner but to tell you honestly. I'd rather have white toner than dtf. dtf is too slow. its like 17-20 mins per shirt. just know the right temp of your heat press to your white toner and youll be good. dtf print quality might be better than white toner but all and all i think white toner is better. (2 years white toner user BTW.)

I still cant get with spending multiple thousands of dollars on a printer and saying "I shake my white ink cartridges once a day" really thats like saying I push start my car once a day. There are and have been systems to alleviate those problems for a couple of years. For the price of this machine I dont see why those advances arent included...

I hear you, for some if you want your business to be on top of the game you have to go in with the ability to learn and troubleshoot. dtf is still new , companies are still learning what they are selling.not saying they are not modifying these printers properly. they are! but they don’t know the problems that could occur so they are not prepared for that part . If you watch some of my newer vlogs you will see things start to make sense on why certain things arise and how to eliminate patiently and fix issues quickly. But I get your frustration I was there.. but if you want to be ahead of the game, you have to pay to play and you’ll be profitable with proper technique and troubleshooting. Be safe bud🤙

I have this printer and I just got it back from being fixed a month ago. The other day it ran out of film and didn’t tell me so it ran over to the same spot for a while before I noticed it. Now it’s not working again. I’ve done cleans and charges I don’t know what to do. Any help would be great!!

So on msm where you reset your media length, you will see right around there “printer stop” make sure that’s on! that’s your threshold for anytime your running out of media it will stop towards the end regardless if your printing . Hope that helps 🤙

Does the refillable cartridges requires a new chip each time you refill? I'm about to place a order with Premier Colour and I want to make sure I purchase all that I need to setup my Muton 628D with the refillable system.

So yes you will be just replacing your smart cards when they run out on the refillable carts.very simple, I will show how on the next video if I can squeeze it in.always ask for a 1L smart cards 220 smart cards are a waste of money.

I have owned this machine since May 23rd. I have had nothing but problems with my white cartridges. Do you ever have issues with white?

Yes I have had issues, for me it was using the aftermarket carts. Not a lot of people know it’s the air getting in the lines over exhausting the channels in the head. Check every other day to make sure no air is running through your lines, if you see that, use the syringe to pull it down🤙

Depends on how much I’m printing, I go through a jug a month. I’m running HTV and embroidery also so I’m spending the work load accordingly throughout all my machines.

How does the print quality and washability compare to DTG prints?

I don’t do dtg but DTF if you are using quality inks and curing/pressing properly. You could go 1 year without any cracks, fade, discoloration. If you are using low grade ink. Not properly curing etc 1 to 6 months . It’s all about quality your putting behind dtf

Sure, I think doing that is more programming the ink channels correctly, adding white option. And possibly some lite modifications replacing ink lines.

Around 7800 for standard 220ml unit and around 9500 for the bulk unit. both are same unit, only different is how much ink your using/capacity 🤙

The only difference in the 2 is how much ink they are setting you up for. so 220ml ink carts for standard and 1L ink system for the bulk. All the same printer. they have other options with curing system . Ask for brendon in sales. awesome kid👌

Still looking into all of that, a lot of 3rd parties are still trying to catch up to dtf format for the mutoh, I heard there is a way to disable the smart cards in general… so there are still possibilities for options.. a couple reputable 3rd parties that I spoke too are figuring that out .

Still one of the most reliable dtf units… but with everything has their pros and cons. But things are in the works to eliminate that. So not a huge problem.

@@Ricks2Cents yes or you can just stay with your company ink. obviously it comes with the smart card for that color. It works out for me to go refillable cause those company inks are expensive… plus I just rather have bulk ink on hand. Honestly no issues..as long as you add your manual maintenance on top of it self cleaning..which isn’t time consuming your machine will always run great with clean nozzle checks👌. Only issue I had was just learning tricks with the flexi pro 21 to get the best quality of what I was printing.

Hey so they range from $7500-10k depending on which package you go with, I would highly recommend going with the base model for around $7500 and building your refillable carts that way you can purchase just ink in bulk.

I dont understand why the 3rd party cartridges need "smart cards". If the printer can detect their chips, they should be able to provide a way to reset them besides buying "smart cards" into perpetuity. Even if its a one time purchase of a chip resetter. And mutoh is not providing a refillable cartridge option even tho they sell ink by the bottle. Its a turn off that they went down the same road as the major printer suppliers .... ink hoarding smh
