There is some truth to the fact that there is an illusion of more options. But quality connections and relationships are truly hard to find. If they were actually committed and the relationship was mostly positive, I have seen exes come back often. That said I wouldn’t wait for several months and put your life on hold. If you are ready to move on then that is the right decision for you

What if she left you for another guy who she invited out with you, but said wasn't a threat. After pre-gaming with him, you can't deny that he is in fact cool, attractive, younger, more connected etc. But you still believe her when she told you he wasn't a threat. But then she proceeds to start ignoring you and giving him more of her attention as the night wears on, until by closing time, she's ignoring you completely and is entirely focused on him, then leaves you for him the next day. At that point, it's hard to believe she didn't leave you for someone better.

But to be honest, I haven’t received a full victory as I have yet to see the guy in person. I had to settle with rejecting him over text. That was enough for me. It had to because imagine if we made plans to meet up and then he ghosted me? Nah. Needed to win on a high note.

The moral of the story, in all honesty it is just better not to take your EX back and just let it go. If you have to go through all the hoops of making them earn you when they didn't value the first time.

Well tbh honest, i don't always abide by that "An ex is an ex for a reason" line. People are flawed and make mistakes, sometimes very serious ones. People lose themselves you know...The fact that the ex left you doesn't mean they didn't ever value you truly in the first place. It's just that time makes limerance fade and some people can't understand their emotions truly, so they assume the relationship is over. You have to give them what they want to see how they measure up to that, and if they are a good person you might give grace if this person didn't manipulate and abuse you. Many relationships become even stronger after a breakup, because they know why they came back to one another.

@@alex_6911 With that being said, I am not a licensed therapist or counselor, neither am I Bob or Barbra the builder. Its called SELF-esteem. The individaul has to be willing to do the work. Individuals are not responsible for another persons being and existence and their past trauma due to the reason of dumping the dumpee. That expectation, patients and burden is too much to be placed on the person that was dumped. As humans we need to stop taking on that task. The dumpee has their own process and self recollection to go through after the break up.Thats too much work and in the end their will be no compensation and reciprocation

@@alex_6911 It depends on the context your taking about but I know what perspective I'm coming from.After a person dumps you and leave your life for what ever reason is not an indiviauls concern(dumpee) and should not be eithier. A person who values you will not leave you because they don't want to loose you to begin with.

It's better to heal and break the soul tie and stop letting your EX spin the block. People do not deserve all of you and they do not need a 2nd chance. The EX coming back a 2nd time will be worse than the first time and you will be in a worse place and still have to heal when you should have moved on in the first place. Going back to them lets you know as a person you have a toxic pattern,

Heres my story: 2 1/2 months ago there was a soft break up leading to a real break up 2 weeks later. I tried to get her back for 3 days straight, she became hostile so i decided to let her be, stumbled across no contact content and tried it out. We both reached out to each other so we spoke briefly once every 10ish days, only thing i did was apologize and tell her if she’s single years down the line and i am we should give it another shot. I’ve gotten over the breakup and am no longer in my feelings but then today she told me she still loved me and she tried to come over and have sex and cuddle but it wouldnt be healthy to see her rn so i said no. Take this as a sign to stay strong

I empathize immensely. We had no problems, she still gave me looks of love, lust and desire, we had plenty of bedroom fun, and had built what I thought was a solid foundation of trust. She'd just moved 2 hours away for school and was having trouble making friends, so I encouraged her to go out and meet people, which she did. I went to visit her soon afterwards and there was zero signs of any problems. She'd invited her new friends out with us, but only one guy could come. She promised me I had nothing to worry about. At first, things were cool, but as the night wore on, she started paying less attention to me and more to him, until, by the end of the night, she was ignoring me completely and was looking for him, walking alone with him, talking with him, and focused entirely on him, all while acting like I wasn't there. She left me the next day when I confronted her about it. Not only did she lie, she threw away the 3 years we'd built together for a guy she met less than a week before, told me I didn't have to worry about, then proceeded to invite him out and humiliate and emasculate me worse than I've ever been. These videos are USELESS when they leave you FOR someone else. Because the moment they met them, they lost all interest and attraction for you, and don't even have to feel the pain of losing you because they're already with someone else who they were willing to throw everything away for.

Never cheated. Never physically abused. Just thought I was husband of the year. She would post how much she was in love with me then, one bad argument, and she stated in 2 months that she had no more feelings for me and moved out. 13 years together. 2 beautiful boys together. She turns 36 this week. Mid-life crisis along with a new job making 6 figures, and she let it get to her head. I'm not perfect, but I am working on myself. No contact for a week so far. This video is so on time. I just got a breadcrumb text yesterday after 3 months. He said “hey how are you, sorry I’m just responding” the F!? I didn’t immediately reply. (Had the thinking, he’s not my priority!) I waited till the next morning to collect my thoughts. Heartbreak will cause you to make poor decisions. Once you come out on the other side you realize no contact and actually wanting the person back is crazy. I know many people who are watching are likely hoping their ex will come back. I say this with love, do you want someone back who didn’t pick you and thought they could do better? Most times people do not come back because they realized their errors, they come back because they can’t replace you. It’s not because you’re irreplaceable it’s because finding someone, anyone, that you connect with is hard. They circling the block because you’re as close as they can get, but they will continue to search while misleading you. And leave again. Never give someone who didn’t see the value you in the first time a second chance. They didn’t just wake up and realized how much you meant. That second chance is self motivated

Honestly, once they leave you, especially if they left you for someone else out of the blue, your only goal should be to inflict the same level of pain they caused you, onto them. I pray every day that my ex realizes the guy she left me for isn't what she wanted and tries to come back to me. I'll act concerned, give her false hope, string her along, and make her think there's a chance, just to torture her, the same way she did to me. I'm not holding my breath though, the universe doesn't have a great record with giving me opportunities like that.

They always feel bad and miss you once the seperation ellation phase ends. Which can last a decent amount of time depending on how the breakup went. If you begged and smothered them for weeks-months your chances of them feeling regret decrease drastically unfortunately. But you learn to never do that again in your next relationships. A great way to get over an ex is to set a realistic financial goal and put all your focus onto that. Hope everyone can find peace.

I started no contact 10 days ago. She has rang 5 times and has left a nasty text towards me on monday morning. I did not react, stayed in no contact. She rang again last night twice on private number and I texted her an hour later saying "you wanted me to leave you alone and move on, so Im doing that. Take care." I rang twice to see if I was blocked or not. To see if my messages went through. Turns out I'm blocked. So back to no contact. 4 and half year relationship.

My ex of 9 years kicked me out from our apartment 3 months ago, over a fight that was regular you could say. Nothing crazy happened. I went to my moms for the night and she never let me back in. She emailed ne separation papers. I treated her very well overall. She hid the cats and the stepdaughter. Just crazy and doesnt make sense. Im guessing she has bpd after reseaeching this over the last many weeks. This was completely unfair & unjust because I am a good person and was on the lease. Im staying with my parents. The shock and trauma I went through was legit deep pain.

@@mrkeitt There is something definitely wrong with this ending because the cruelty involved should have no place for someone who took care of her and family for 9 years. How can you just close the door and that's it see ya? A week before this happened I had my brother over for some beers. I took him downstairs so he can cab it home and when I came back upstairs and went to lay down, she opened the door and started a fight saying " how dare you disrespect me in front of your brother? I said "What are you talking about?" She said " You gonna deny it then?" I said "deny what?" And she said that I am gas lighting her. I told her this is the 3rd time she has caused a commotion after a Saturday evening having some drinks. I said I worked all week, the groceries are done, the bills are paid. The family and cats are fed, and she would talk over me and said I have an anger problem. She stonewalled me for 1 week and the day she kicked me out, I told her it isn't friendly for her to go that, and she said that she is not responsible for how I feel. That led to another argument and she went bizzerk and said she doesn't love me anymore. I went to my parents for the night and was never let back in.

I was in a shakey spot in life and dumped my girl. Things weren't going welI. Over the course of 7 month things improve. I see her at church and shes hot and cold. I invite her out and now she just got a new bf. A few weeks before she was single.... Feel like my heart is ripped out... its done... cant go back once shes been with someone else...

Than you so much for sharing, and for all your videos. I only found you recently, after a long period of no contact. It worked. My ex reached out 2 weeks ago and we have had a few brief exchanges ever since. I have been polite but have held back my usual energy. Your videos have helped me feel supported in doing so. I was wondering if you’d consider doing more content on how to handle when they come back, knowing that you’re not THEIR rebound. My ex and I had a situationship rather than a long-term, committed relationship. He gave me mixed signals and ultimately slow faded me to pursue someone that did the same thing back to him. Got a taste of his own medicine. Needless to say, it didn’t work out. I’m under the impression it hit him pretty hard and it seems like he realizes what I had to offer is actually what he wanted in the first place. But how do I know that this is genuine and he’s not just trying to numb the pain of the other person not working out? And would making him work hard to get back together with me, like you describe here, be the test?

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to move on, I really loved her so much i can’t stop thinking about her and the memories we shared. I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail. I’m frustrated, and i don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts, but i can’t. I have been in such a situation. My relationship ended about three years ago, but i could not let her go. So i had to do all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back. We are back together, and i must say i am enjoying every moment.

My ex dumped me 3.5 months ago. Went no contact immediately. This Friday June 7th was supposed to be our wedding date. We both go to the same church and were ministry leaders until I stepped down after the breakup. She’s been living it up and happy-ish or at least creates the illusion of that. Found out she’s finally entering the depressed/missing us stage. I’ve been absentee since and have lost 75lbs, changing careers and fixing myself in every way… leveling up. Kind of curious if I shouldn’t appear again. I do miss her and definitely do love her, just have no idea what to do. I know I should probably just move on but my heart won’t let me.

My breakup of a 15 year relationship was extremely bitter. She had cheated on me for years and I found out toward the end. Tried to make it work, but I broke it off and she then flipped it around and reverse discarded me heinously after I told her I regretted saying I wanted to end things. Told her she was dead to me and that she should never contact me again. Haven’t spoken in three months. I don’t want to get back with her, but I do want to forgive and receive forgiveness from her for my own healing. Will no contact work in this situation? She hasn’t spoken to her own family in over two years.

My wife dumped me for other women..we are on separation time 2 years then apply for Divorce. I wish her big family and lots of money that what she wants money. I give her what she wants No contact over a year. Don’t care what she doing I concentrate on my future on my own opened business what going really well. After divorce I will be more open to proper relationships now Iam still healing I take my time with my emotions. Iam proud of myself i did that hard step I accept it she never loved me. Coach we were married for 8 years, struggled all this time to be a good husband that I can be . Then fights arguments heated up so much, disrespect , discontent ego came between. Then one fine day she says I not obligated to stay married to you and we separated . God dumped. She is relefed very happy . Posting pictures of her being happy . We have one child . And now trying to keep up as good father. It's fresh . It hurts when someone you love says I don't want to grow old with you. But it is what it is . She is successful. Hardworking and individual focused in life. But as a wife , I still don't understand why? Whenever I go to drop my son at her place , the strong emotions come out so much I recall everything and hardly look into her face. Slowly moving forward. Step by step coach . Not easy at all.

so true we were both young and didnt know what a relationship needed. now we have been seperated it is my fault not listening. not being emotional validating and unappreciative. she felt worthless and it was my fault. having 3 children will burn you out. not that i didnt love her but my energy was with the kids and work instead of my wife and we both didnt have anymore to give. but could of been avoided if i wasnt blind but researching for myself i find my faults

It will be almost 3 months and I haven't seen a sign that she missed me. She only celebrated my birthday and is still following on instagram. Idk man most of the time our realtionship is good and we loved each other very much. She just told me ''The frequency of our fights increased'' and ''i am very frustrated and exhausted. I tried too much'' etc etc. I am still on no contact but what should I do? We dated for like 1.5 years nearly.

I want to try the no contact method, but what if she is messaging and calling me first. I don’t want to ignore her and have her think I don’t care about her and want nothing to do with her anymore. It’s like the person I was with for 7 years died and a new version was born and she became cold and ugly. The girl I knew loved me so much and this new her is just not her. Thank you for your videos. I would like to request a video on how to navigate when your ex monkey branches to a coworker. Rushes the relationship with a marriage ceremony (not legal), buys a house with the woman, and now has had a baby. We were together 21 years with kids, and now he has been with her 3 years that I know of and has done all of this plus at one time was taking her on great vacations that we never went on. What usually happens on those rushed relationships, especially once a baby comes along? Does it prolong the rebound? I also realize that some rebounds/monkey branches work out for the long term.

Tbh I understand her so much ,.. it’s a huge headache and heart ache to have your loved ones hate the person you love .. imo you should sincerely apologize to her friends and family because whatever the break was about .. they hated how she cried for you or if being with you had led her down a bad path unintentionally… it happens and ego is a huge part and ofcourse you might not think you have to but for her peace of mind you should apologize to them

@@queenj1203 look dont get me wrong: we were having a fight and it was really toxic due to her behavior... Whenever i tried to explain myself i was insulted and called narcistic person and an idiot and other mean things... Therefore i said: well i dont need to treated like this and went of for two weeks so i can calm down and so can she... She is really disrespectful and so was i... But i never meant to leave her or anything like this... However when i came back she said that she doesnt want to be with me anymore and that i would have broken up... It was never my intention... Then i begged like a little child because i love her so much and miss her so much... But she says that her friends and family are against it though we could do this whatever... I said i would talk to them but she said that they dont want to hear anything from me anymore... I did apologize however... They said nothing though they actually fueled the fire before... They wanted us to break up way earlier already i guess and nothing worked... And her parents are also thinking badly of all of this because she was hurt... But her mother seems to be fine i guess? Idk but in reality what was going on is that she simply wants to have someone "better" i guess and she starts following all these dudes right now and simply hurts me and kept in contact with me to ease the pain as she admitted herself... I tried to apologize by all other people but they didnt want to hear it... I really start to think that they have no idea what was going on and that in reality she simply wants someone else
