I disagree. An abrupt discard is like a sudden death and damages your soul. I’ve had it done to me before and it’s brutal. 2 days post breakup and in retrospect although my ex was a textbook narc, I got a full 8 months to plot my exit strategy but I’m surely grateful that my narc was compassionate because if I had just been discarded abruptly the breakup would’ve been worse

Thank you so much for the videos. You’ve been carrying me for the past month. I don’t think my ex will come back. I’m not even sure I want him to because of how badly he did me. He moved out and broke up with me when I was out of work. So I have no way to pay bills or anything and he left me in this time. While he was here even though I wasn’t working I still went in on all bills, same portion as when I was working. But he put it in his head he was doing more when in fact I did more. Four of my bills increased right after I lost my job. I handled that. I was the one with the car that he used to go to work. We worked together for four years. So now that I was no longer working there I allowed him to use my car so he could still go to work. None of that mattered. I don’t think my case applies here because of him leaving me to possibly get evicted. He did not care what happened to me. I have to focus on that because emotionally I still long for him, but logically a person who would do me like that does not deserve a place in my life.

Coach Blac. I’m in a worst situation now. She broke up with me for religious reasons. She says she got a conviction and her pastor confirmed it so she’s made up her mind. It’s a long distance relationship so the only option I had was no contact. Unfortunately I couldn’t endure the no contact. I broke it, she wasn’t rude to me but didn’t give me any assurance for the future. I’m unable to return back to my country to see her, neither am I able to talk to new people here due to language barrier. I wrote her this message last week “I’m leaving your life for good. Time will reveal that I’ve given my all” and I blocked her but I’ve now regretted blocking her because my emotions are traumatizing me. I can’t unblock her at this point. My ex broke up with me about 4 months ago, after a 4 year relationship. Ultimately the relationship had gotten monotonous and she ended up loosing attraction. We tried to stay "friends" afterwards, as we agreed that we had a really special connection, and i lowkey hoped to build back that attraction. The situation however got too tough for me, as she kept saying she needed space between meetings (and then proceed to text 2 days after). We now had a meeting that ended with us entering the first period of official no contact. It felt very final (she cried and said that she hoped she would find a way back into my life, but couldn't promise anything). Box up his things and have them returned or dropped off asap, if you don’t need yours tell him to dump them, or if you need em ask they be boxed up and left outside and you will pick up at a designated time. Then you can truly start the process. Until then, those items will be a potential tie to each other. You must break any ties with your ex to start this process. It is a must

If you have no kids, do not respond at all. If you have kids, respond to only contact you in reference to the kids and to not use them as a pretext to contact you. If she thinks you’ll always be there, nothing will change. If you want any chance of attraction to reset and longing to grow, you must block her for at least a month. The reason this works, is because it allows you to heal, and work on your own personal development and to become a better catch, and to keep your dignity and self worth, and not lower your value to her. And, IF there is any chance of rekindling, it allows them to wonder about you and reminisce on the good times, and the good qualities you have, and it will only happen by cutting off contact for a while. After 30 days you can unblock and if she reaches out, then offer for her to come over if she wants to talk with you. Otherwise you wish her the best. And under no circumstances do you chase here whatsoever.

I have a question please if you can answer. I do not understand the idea of entertaining my ex , responding to their breadcrumbs during no contact ( because i am hurt n sensitive ) , he didnt commit to me fully and he took me n my love for granted. Please help. We were in no contact for 9 months and then he texted me out of the blue in the middle of the night saying, “you are right about something’s .” I didn’t know how to respond to that, and so I stayed quiet. I realize that he was probably testing the waters and didn’t really know what to say after 9 months but I felt like he should’ve said more.
