Hello everybody! Welcome back to my X-Men based comic book podcast, where I chat about some of the best mutants of Marvel!
In this episode, we're going back to Emma Frost, baby! As a soft relaunch of the podcast, I thought it'd be fun to return to talking about MY favorite X-Men! Specifically, chatting about her during the Krakoa era, X-Men 97, and where I'd like to see her go in the future.

I’ve read somewhere where Beau had to explain that he does not hate Emma’s character or that he’s opposed to the Emma and Cyclops relationship. He said he’s not writing her off completely and I have a feeling she’ll have a bigger role to play after the tragedy in Genosha. So I really do think that we will see her more in Season 2 in X-Men 97. As of today we don’t know Jean’s status whether she’s dead or alive by the Finale and if she dies Emma might show up in the picture by Season 2 and I honestly would love to see that.

I agree that she works better as a character with more ambiguous motives; I think that the death of the Hellions did a lot for her character. Really good analysis 🫶🏾

I want Marvel Studios to do Ema Frost justice. Her appearance and portrayal in X-Men First Class was such an an insult to the character. She is so powerful and interesting as an individual. I hope they do it on this show, starting it by getting rid of that her original outfit, which they always make her appear with.

Not one of my top favorite X-Men characters (only because there are SO many) but I really do like her a lot. Hope DeMayo did well by her. I heard Emma's fans gave him an earful so I hope he reconsidered how to use her before he got fired from Xmen 97 and that he will keep that in mind if he is allowed to come back to the show.

From having my finger on the pulse of some comic book discourse, I think there’s definitely a fair chunk of people who enjoyed the two and their interactions in Fall of X! I don’t want them together forever or anything but their dynamic was way better than I thought it’d be for sure.
