I'm going to vacation in Croatia this summer so I am learning the language. I've already studied Slovenian since I got there few years ago and it is easier to learn Croatian, although it is a bit confusing! Greetings from Milan, Italy

Norwegian for Germanic family = Croatian for Slavic family I find them sounding kinda close, because of the stress and "o" in the end of verbs. P.S. I'm Ukrainian

25) Classical Croatian-Klasična hrvatska, 25) Klasična hrvatsko-klasična hrvatska, Kad se tek rođeno dijete drži izolirano, a da nitko ne komunicira s djetetom, nakon nekoliko dana ono će govoriti i ljudskim prirodnim (prakritski) jezikom poznatim kao klasični magahi magadhi / klasični jezik Chandaso / Magadhi Prakrit / klasični Hela Basa (Hela jezik) / Klasični Pali koji su isti. Buda je govorio u Magadhi. Svih 7111 jezika i dijalekata nestaju s klasične Magahi Magadhi. Dakle, svi su oni klasične prirode (Prakrit) Ljudskih Bića, baš kao što i svi drugi živi životopisi imaju svoje prirodne jezike za komunikaciju.

Questions, so I learned that “To je...” means “It is....” but the translation in this video says it means “that is....” does “To je” also mean “That is” even though “Ovo je” is the real translation of “that is”? I hope this question doesn’t confuse anyone😅

There are only two demonstrative pronouns in english (this/these and that/those) but there are more of those in croatian (ovo + variations, to + variations, ono + variations)To, ovo ,ono have such small differences in meaning that you won't be wrong if you translate either of those as this/that. We use "ovo" when reffering to something close to to us (when speaking in first person), "to" when reffering to something close to you (the person the speaker is talking to), " ono" when reffering to something that is far away from both the speaker and the person being spoken to. Also "ono" can also be used as a pronoun for an object , thus the translation "it" (like it in he/she/it). This is confusing for native speakers too 😕 i hope i helped
