You hit the nail on the head with the Ft/Pt Ebay seller. What gets on my back, is those who are safely propped up by Disability/PIP payments (which still allow you to work FT) yet claim they live off what they earn on Ebay. Without that safety net of government hand outs, their life would be no way near as comfortable. Others often show you the "£4,000" they made that month, but dont show you the "£3,000" they paid to stock/pack and send it all. Don't get me started on those like Sloth who show you himself buying a Hoover for £40 then shows the highest selling listing on Ebay to maximise fake profit to potential viewers.

Tbh without seeing that it's hard to comment (I don't watch half as many people as I used to) but from memory he refurbishes the hoovers and has a big old unit to store them, I'd imagine he'd be looking to maximise the profit, tbf I often just use one of the first sold screenshots I find lol. Didn't know people where on pip as well, but pip is supposed to help with independent living, I presume those on it aren't comfortable with showing that side of their life yet

The definition of full time is working more than 27.5 hours per week on a primary job regardless of monetary value you receive per hour. In the uk anyway.
@JamesCollects2 ай бұрын
Ooh, interesting. Considering recording goes along side sourcing, editing often takes more time than listing
@Thebearscave812 ай бұрын
It is actually a few more hours according to .Gov. It is anything less than FT hours which tends to be 35hrs on the low end.
@shandy10872 ай бұрын
It's the time you put into different avenues that makes the difference between full time and part time. You could work 40 hours being a shelf stacker on minimum wage or you could do 40 hours being a CEO/managing director and on thousands a week but both are still FULL time as it's the time you spend working at it
@JamesCollects2 ай бұрын
Interesting, so you definitely put time going in over money coming out as the defining difference?
@shandy10872 ай бұрын
@@JamesCollects yes I do cos you could make that sale for whatever amount then not sell anything for hours or days but you working hour after hour as a wage you build that money working part time or full time

Yep part time ebay reseller, part time youtuber but then i class myself as a full time engineer. Thats where the bulk of my money comes from even tho i worked out i spend nearly as much time reselling/youtubing as i do engineering. Maybe im part time engineer too then. P.s. enjoyed the fashion show
@JamesCollects2 ай бұрын
Don't get used to the fashion show lol. Your so if you were to ever have to do another CV would you include them?

I think if you got a full time job, 40 hours a week. If you sell on eBay between your full time job, you are a part timer on your second job. And I know it’s a lot of effort to make videos and edit them, that’s part time also. I work a full time job and sell on the side, that’s part time from my aspect. Other people are trying to Impress the audience by lying and claiming to be something they ain’t. Pretty sad really. Sorry for the long reply 😂😂

I got to be honest if it wasnt for youttubers i would not of considered certain items to buy on FB and carboots. I think that everyone can exergerate a bit. I have also checked solds and noticed. The price isnt always what was mentioned on the channel. I owe a lot of my profit to youtubers who have assisted me at some point ie ricky. And rummage always helpful with the odd insta message and others like cola flipper and. The global thrifters. Admitted i do try and get knowledge from you james. But i just dont understand Pokémon cards. I know you do more than just poke cards. But you do seem to know your shit. Mike

Hi Mike, I don't just do pokemon cards 😉 There's a lot to learn, and a lot of people to learn from that's for sure

@JamesCollects I know that bud. But I know you have a lot of Pokémon card knowledge. I seen lots of your videos. And the waffles. I do remember a vid you asked a guy for Skylanders. Which I sell quite a few of.

Just tag me next time yeah But for real tho. I’m not a part time or full time eBay seller / vinted seller or KZbinr. Im a full time money maker. Don’t care where it comes from. (Ethically) of course.

@stefan83032 ай бұрын
There's some that clearly make more from KZbin than from ebay. It's easy to look at their store and see how much they're selling. Although the KZbin doesn't survive without the selling part - but when they read out one subscriber sale after another, you know which is propping up which. Nothing wrong with that, as long as they're honest. Most would likely be making pocket money if it wasn't for KZbin
