You have to experience to know how it feels. My first one I thought I was going to die. It was so bad that I had to go to the ER. I’m on my fourth from 6. Praying to be my last one. Everyone is different, so is the chemotherapy. I’m doing immunotherapy as well. Praying for everyone going through this terrible desease.

Four and a half years ago, I was diagnosed, had surgery and rejected all conventional treatments (doctors were FURIOUS). Choose holistic route and feel the best I've felt since my teen years. Holistic doctor changed my diet (personalized for my health needs), detoxed me, put me on supplements and high dose vitamin C drips. This was stated before surgery and it killed one mass and shrank the other by the same size as the one that was killed, thus saving my breast and all the reconstructive surgery. I replaced my conventional treatment plan with high dose vitamin C, supplements and continued with the prescribed eating plan after surgery. Best decision ever. No pain, sickness or long-term side effects from the conventional treatments. Sadly, because my doctors didn't agree with my decision, they are looking for my cancer to come back. 😢 All the healthy changes resolved five medical ailments and I lost over 65 lbs the healthy way. Nutrition plays a HUGH role in the ailments we suffer from and, sadly, this is something rarely spoken about in the cancer field. There are foods that actually feed cancer! I've learned ALOT about nutrition while researching my options before surgery and from my holistic doctor. Everything I thought I knew was wrong!

Im going to guess that your cancer was not very progressed? My husband is currently going through chemo/radiation. He has an extremely aggressive form of cancer. It grows by the day. I know that Steve Jobs went the holistic route and he died because of it. I'm not saying it doesn't work, I am a firm believer in holistic medicine. I would just be nervous to go this route with an aggressive cancer. Do you think all cancers can be cured this way? Who did you see? Any recommendations would be wonderful.

You were lucky. Others who would reject treatments might very well die. As such, nobody should blindly follow your example.

Someone can tell you whatever they want what you can expect from chemo but let me tell you this, it is something that you have to experience yourself.....They can only tell or inform you what to expect. To be honest, it was way worse than they told me.....

I haven't had chemotherapy as the rare Lymphoma I have called Mycosis Fungoides generally comes back after chemotherapy after about 6 months so it's not worth the damage it does vs the benefits gained but I've had radiation treatments and have seen the places where people go for chemo and it's very clean and secure and nobody but the staff and paitents are allowed in but you can see them coming and going as you wait for radiation.

Have they suggested some type of cell therapy . My brother inlaw went on chemo for an aggressive lymphoma and they had it gone but it came back in 3 months so they did some cell therapy and knocked it out again.

Has anyone had chemo infusion twice,? The complete treatment twice?
@GrytHealth2 жыл бұрын
We're not sure what you mean. It sounds like you're talking about 2 rounds of treatment. That's actually a really low number of rounds. Personally, I had bladder cancer and was scheduled for 6 rounds of treatment in which I went to the infusion suite 2 days in a row every 2 weeks to receive my entire chemo cocktail. Many people get many more rounds than that. How are you doing now? Have you gotten the hang of things yet with some better understanding? ~Liz, Gryt Health Team Member
