It is a little different than Japonais, but this is a worthy opponent, and still very damn good. I have no regrets. I had to get mine from the UAE, I believe, and took less than a week to get to me here in the US. For the price, it can't be beat.

Only a few years ago those more vintage Thierry Mugler gift sets were still around. I bought a 50 mL and shower gel combo myself. Has to have the TM signature at the bottom though. Once it became just Mugler, the reform wasn't great. ⭐ Appreciate all the answers!

Omg. I need to go get my nose on “One umbrella for two” right away because that case and set in Sebastian’s link is exactly what I want to get for my dad who loves rice (to eat), was the sole income for my own and extended family for many years (the perfume name is so spot on) and loves all things in Japanese culture. Great video!!! On the price question, I personally just would like less luxury packaging or at least the option to choose if you want it. It is a truly waste and probably the perfume price point could be lower. I keep sturdy boxes such FdB, Dusita, Vilhelm for storing samples but there is as many I can keep. I loved when I received Hiram Green, Bogue, MDCI or Fûm Gragances that at least I can store easier too. I understand that they want to make the customer feel they are buying a luxury item but you can still make a beautiful glass bottle and maybe less velvet /plastic in the box itself

Sebastian, I just picked up Exit The King from Etat Libre d'Orange after watching your soapy-clean recommendation. It is incredible and quite possibly is in my top 3 favorites of all time. Longevity is stellar on my skin and i am obsessed with it. I never would have tried it had it not been for your recommendation. THANK YOU! PS As far as Gris Dior - I love it and it is in my top 5, though I do wish the performance was better. I layer with the body wash, lotion, and perfume and get a little more longevity. I really like that you explained that this is a rose chypre because I did not know that. I am learning that I adore Oakmoss. Is Exit The King a chypre too? Thank you for all you do Sebastian!

Dirty Rice is right up my alley! I cook and eat Basmati every week I can't get enough, it's delicious and smells amazing 😋Also need to try Santal Basmati and Je Ne Sais Quoi. I have 3 bottles that leaked at the base, I didn't want to return them so I removed the protective cap and very carefully tighten the metal parts that seal it to the bottle with a pair of pointy pliers, if it still leaks i put superglue around it and sprinkle it with baking soda and that's it, fixed, it takes a little practice but better than return it and have to wait again for it 😱 Great long video, thank you Sebastian!!!

I did have issues finding YSL’s Babycat here in the UK..But once i smelt the similarities with Vanagloria i ended buying 3 bottles of it in Liberty😂🙈

It's so true what you say in your response to question no. 8. I finally got my hands on Khamrah by Lattafa. I usually don't go for dupes or inspired fragrances. But every single review I've seen of this fragrance says that Khamrah is its own fragrance and not a dupe for Angels' Share. But Khamrah's bottle is very much inspired by Angels' Share. Anyway, now that I've put my nose to Khamrah, I definitely agree it does not smell like Angels' Share, but there's no mistaking that it is inspired by Angels' Share. My experience of both fragrances could not be more different. For me Angels' Share is a warm, delicious and luxurious smelling fragrance. Khamrah, which is a fraction of the price of Angels' Share, definitely smells cheap, super sweet and synthetic. It won't be a re-purchase for me. Sorry for the long-winded comment, but hopefully my point comes across.

I think Ormonde Jayne Champaca has a hit of basmati in it, though I own a bottle and can’t detect it prominently.
