I spent a couple hours today on my wardrobe. Put together 20 outfits. Shifting the style rut I have been in after job hopping last year. It opened up space to display my vintage hat collection!!

This is very clear and interesting. I would love my home to show that I am an organized person and that I love to craft, but this has to happen in one room (my living room). Unfortunately I don’t have the energy at the moment to get this done. My intention is good but I just don’t have the energy to really clean my space and even put everything away whenever I used it. I do every day something in my house but the normal things like cleaning the toilet, doing the laundry etc already take up so much of my energy that I just can’t get more done. Hoping to feel better soon and getting back my energy so I can start working on everything again.

Just like the mind clutter video, THIS video is SO on point, it's expressed so beautifully & clearly. The unfortunate payload is it's quite a shock to the soul, (speaking as one at the OTHER end of the spectrum). 2025 is the year we make progress!!

It’s about training, consistency daily training yourself to keep spaces tidy and neat. It took me years to figure out how it was possible that one moment my space was perfect and the next it was a mess again. But it’s SO simple: after using something, bring it back to where you got it from. There is though, one very important thing needed, to succeed in this: all items in your house need to have their own and logical place. Now you know where to get it without having to surge for it and you know where to put it back. I started with the living. Than my dressingroom. Followed by the kitchen. My bedroom never was a problem. My next challenge is my dining room. That has always been the center of collecting all the clutter on the table. So, step by step. Practice. Enjoy the result. And yes! It definitely helps, seeing your space through the eyes of the visitor that steps into your home for the first time. I do this very often. It makes you see things in a new light. And you enjoy your home so much more when it’s tidy and neat all the time. It makes you feel better and it makes you feel better about yourself.
